Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Tv won't power up straight away

when lcd tv`s fail to power up, but stay on standby. It is usually because of bad capacitors on the power board. My 22" lcd monitor did the same. It would not come off of standby. It starts with them being slow to turn on. "Sound familiar"? I fixed mine by changing the bad caps. There were two of them.

Emerson tv....won't turn on...stand by light won't go off

Not making it on or out of standby---first place to look is the power supply for signs of damage or puffed up filter caps there.

Why does my tv has a line in the middle of it

Is it a vertical line or horizontal line? Does the line go away when you turn the TV off? If the line goes away when you turn the TV off, it is probably due to the "signal". Does the line go away with different inputs? If so, the cause is the specific input signal.

Yes the display settings need to be reset since he had HDTV and you don't. I do this by simply having the PS off then press power button and hold it for 5 seconds.

Do you have cable or are you getting channels over the air? Is your TV digital ready? Do you have a digital converter?

If there is an option for setting the formatting to NTSC or PAL, check that you have the correct one selected.

PAL is European and NTSC is North American.
