Question about HP PSC 2355 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I am getetting a message 'remove and check cartridge on right'. I've done that to no avail. I cleaned the contacts on the cartridge but this did not help. I bought new cartridge and error still persists.
I recommend that you perform the steps below to resolve the
Step 1: Semi-full reset
Remove both the cartridges and then perform the reset.
Perform a semi-full reset on your PSC 2200 by holding the button
combination given below, while plugging in the power cord.
CAUTION: A semi-full reset will reset or clear the following
* Return the user settings to the factory defaults.
* Delete language and country settings on some models.
* Fax logs.
* Fax headers.
* Fax speed dial information.
Press and hold "#" and "6" buttons while on the front panel keypad,
plugging in the power cord.
Now insert the cartridges back.
Step 2: Firmware update
Download and save the file and install the software.

hope this helps iftry first printing a test page (or anything)to the printer. try checking all your cables to ensure they are seatedsnuggly. try using a different USB port. try rebooting your computerwithout the printer plugged in, then plug it in and see if yourcomputer recognizes it before trying to upgrade the firmware

First unplug the printer wait a minute and plug back in-resetting it may resolve the conflict.
Second...If you have already tried cleaning the contacts on the cartridge itself then you might need to follow the instructions in your printer manual to do cleaning and maintenance on the printer itself.
Third...Try un installing the drivers and reinstalling them
Hope this helps, comment back if you have any problems or need further assistance. Feel free to leave positive feedback if this helped. Thank you for stopping by Fixya!
