SOURCE: My Wireless keyboard isnt working

Hello!

Check to make sure you resync the keyboard. Some times, when a wireless keyboard or mouse loses signal, you have to press a "Sync" button on the receiver (or device) to restore the connection. Some of the newer mice and keyboards from Logitech resync automatically, it just depends on what brand and model you have.

I hope this helps! If you're still unable to get it to reconnect, you're probably dealing with a malfunctioning keyboard. Check into the warranty!

How do i connect my hp wireless mouse to the computer

The first step is to install its driver, after taht you can connect the wireless dongle into a free USB port of your computer, then put the batteries inside the mouse and turn it on, in the most of cases, the wireless dongle and mouse sinchronize automatically, if they don't, there's a small botton in both devices press it in each one to synchronize them manually.

Unscrew the mouse and check for the contact and adjust the alignment of the casing to the click switch contact. Reinstall the HP wireless mouse software that might reset the settings. Have a nice day.

How do i hook up a wireless mouse to my Dell Computer.

The exact steps will depend on which brand of wireless mouse you buy, but they're all pretty much the same. There's a receiver that plugs into a USB port on the computer to pick up the signal from the mouse and the mouse itself. You need to put batteries into the mouse, while the receiver is powered by the computer. There will probably be some driver software you'll need to install so that Windows will know what to do with the new hardware, and that will be on a CD. Usually you just put the disc in and the installation starts automatically. That's about all that any wireless mouse involves.

Good luck, happy mousing, and thanks for using Fixya!

It uses up two AAA batteries in less than four hours of use!!

Hello Pabobr, hi, I wish this may help, I want to ask you a question, during that 4 hour use, does your mouse operate normally?
If yes, then thats a design problem, If no, you need to try other battery makes, and see if the changing battery names with solve your problem, if by any chance the problem still persist, try you mouse on another PC, see if the problem is your PC or not, if still you cannot break the 4 hour use, its already a design flow of that wireless mouse, call your dealer if what you have experience is the true just for confirmation. Try also other brands, you choose, still continue to use that mouse, and waste money on batteries or try other makes. Or go back to the traditional wire mouse.

Battery critical warning

Check with the manufacture of the mouse (the website) to determine if they have a faq covering it. Your alternative is save the battery and get a different brand of mouse. I am assuming your mouse is wireless by the way. FYI....the problem rate of wireless devices to hard wired devices is probably in the order of 5000 to 1. I use a hard wired mouse and keyboard.
