1998 48V electric club car - just replaced 48 volt batteries and two solenoids, but still can't get it to run. can hear back up alarm, but no juice to key switch or pedal. help!

If you go to you will find a schematic for what I believe will be close to wiring of your cart. A systematic check of volts to the various components should get you going. 1st port of call, you should see 48 volts on both sides of the keyswitch when it is on. Check the fuse in line with the red wire from the solenoid to the on-board computer.
It may simply be that you have one battery terminal too loose and it just wont allow you to draw enough current to run anything but the buzzer. Does the buzzer stop when you press your foot on the gas? If so it really does point to a loose battery connection.
