SOURCE: I can't get our Samsung Blu-ray player(Model

I am not an expert a "tinkerer"at best but I do have the 3600 like you and I have no problems connecting. Make sure there aren't any spaces or special characters in you router name. Follow your instruction manual and get the 3600 connected first then try netflix: Menu, setup, network, set your settings and it will tell you available networks, choose yours, enter your security code then do a connection test. If its not connecting at what step are you having a problem?

SOURCE: how do i connect an insignia ns-bdlive01 blu ray

I'm sorry to tell you this, but the BDLive01 was not designed to connect to Netflix.

Netflix streaming was not possible on the Insignia BluRay players until the NS-BRDVD3.

Again, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

SOURCE: I have LG BD370, purchased

Get a Wireless Access Point ($30-$50 average). A wire from WAP to the Blu-Ray player should work like a charm. The WAP pretty much takes your wireless connection and transforms it back to a wired Ethernet connection for devices like this. You can have your Wireless Router on one side of your house and the WAP on the other, right next to your blu-ray player with a short Ethernet connection between the two. The player will just see it as a standard Ethernet connection.

Unable to get dns code to activate netflix

You shouldn't need a code to connect to netflix, just the password to your wireless router. If you don't have it then contact your ISP and they can tell you what it is, sometimes they put it on the bottom of the router itself with the model number.

Error code 52230 - when trying to connect to Netflix. Unable to connect to the server for the last 2 days.

Unable to connect to your wireless network
Likely cause: Your router or Internet Service Provider is having difficulty assigning a DNS or IP address to the Wii.
How to fix: Manually assign an IP address and DNS to the Wii.
  1. Manually assign an IP address to your Wii console.
Assigning an IP address to your Wii is easy!
    1. Access the Wii System settings and select "Internet" from Page 2.
    2. Select "Connection Settings" and choose the connection file you currently use (will have a red border around it).
    3. Select "Change Settings," and click the right blue arrow twice to reach "Auto-Obtain IP Address."
    4. Click on "No" and select "Advanced Settings."
    5. Now, click in the "IP Address" field to enter an IP address. Look at the brand of your router, and enter the IP address listed below into the field.
      • Linksys - enter: 192.168.001.140
      • Netgear - enter: 192.168.001.250
      • Belkin - enter: 192.168.002.090
      • D-Link - enter: 192.168.000.190
      • Apple - enter: 010.000.001.250
      • 2Wire - enter: 192.168.001.250
      • Actiontec - enter: 192.168.001.250
      • SMC Networks - enter: 192.168.002.190

    6. Once the IP address is entered, select "OK."
    7. Select the Subnet Mask box, then enter 255.255.255.0 and select "OK."
    8. Select the Default Router box. You will need to enter the defail gateway address for your router brand. Look at the brand of your router, and enter the gateway address listed below into the field.
      • Linksys - enter: 192.168.001.001
      • Netgear - enter: 192.168.001.001
      • Belkin - enter: 192.168.002.001
      • D-Link - enter: 192.168.000.001
      • Apple - enter: 010.000.001.253
      • 2Wire - enter: 192.168.001.254

    11. Select "No" and then "Advanced Settings."
    12. Click into the "Primary DNS" field and enter: 008.008.008.008
    13. Click into the "Secondary DNS" field and enter: 008.008.004.004 Please note: These are public DNS's provided by Google and are subject to Google's Terms of Service. If you prefer to not use this service, doing an Internet search for "public DNS" will provide you with several other options you can use.
    14. Select "Confirm," and then "Save."
    15. Click on "Save" and then "OK" to perform a connection test.
    16. If the test was successful, then your Wii is now connected online. If you received error code 52130, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further.
  2. Other suggestions:
    • Did this connection used to work but has suddently stopped? "Power cycle" your router by unplugging it from the power outlet. Wait a few minutes, and plug the router back in. Wait a couple of minutes for it to initialize, and try to connect the Wii console online and test for proper response.
    • Check for wireless interference, which can affect the signal strength to the Wii console. To help minimize wireless interference, try the following:
      • Make sure other wireless devices such as cordless phones or wireless speakers are turned off, and that the Wii console is an open area without objects or electronics blocking the signal. (For instance, if the Wii is placed in a crowded entertainment center, try moving the Wii somewhere with more room.)
      • Change your router's channel setting to 1 or 11. By default, most routers broadcast on channel 6, which overlaps with other channels and may be weaker. For help doing this, click here and select your router brand and model (if available). The information you need is found in the "Broadcast Channel:" area.

Seems like the DNS on your router has failed to provide address info for your BR player. I would first try this:
  1. Unplug the Blu-Ray player
  2. Unplug your router for 20 seconds
  3. Plug your router back in and wait for the Wifi symbol or WLAN light to turn on
  4. Plug in and turn on the Blu-Ray player
If that fails, I would double check the WiFi settings on the Blu-Ray player, make sure that you have the SSID and passkey correct.
If that still fails, I suspect that your router's DHCP table has a problem with it. You may need to consult your router's manual for instructions on how to clear the DHCP table. The easiest way to do this is to perform a factory reset on the router. You will have to redo any configurations you may have applied to the router such as WiFi name (SSID) and pasword.

I'm trying to connect my TV via wireless to the

Connect a computer to this router using an ethernet cable.
Check the IP address. The default gateway which the hard-wired computer would receive is: 192.168.2.1
Open the router interface on your computer by typing 192.168.2.1 in a blank address bar in your browser.
On the left column, Under WIRELESS, select security and check the security settings made (Recommended: 64-bit WEP security)
Use this info on your wireless device to connect wireless.
For your blu-ray device to work, you have to disable FIREWALL on the router, also assign static DNS under INTERNET WAN.
It ll surely work, if you still have issues, call me at +91-9994070998
I ll surely fix this issue.

the DNS should be informed by your internet service, but most times the system recognises the DNS by looking for it on the router .

it's happening to you because the IP is got from the router (and it'll be always correct), but the DNS ,that allows you to connect to your internet service must not be correct .

try using the default automatic settings when asked, the ps3 system will try to find the DNS and everything else necessary for your internet connection .

Cant get internet connection on my ps

first check wether you received a valid ip address for your local network. usually, this should be something like 192.168.x.y. if so, then you might indeed face a dns issue. dns is used to resolve web site names to ip address. usually, your ip service provider will broadcast the external dns servers for your router to recognize.

try to connect with a computer first. if it works, check the ip settings. if your computer also cannot connect without explicit dns server settings you can do one of the following:
- explicit dns server address in ps3. go to "advanced internet connection settings", and then to "dns settings" and set the dns server address
- purchase a 30$ network router and hook it between your internet and the ps3. in the router settings, set the dns server address to be broadcasted to the clients. you can use 168.126.63.1 and 2 which are dns servers in korea (i live in korea), but you might want to find the server near to your location or promoted by your isp

What dns numbers work

You'll need the IP address of your DNS server. Which would be either your router or the IP address of the DNS Server from you ISP.

You should make sure everything is connected properly. Set all settings to automatic.

Let me know if this helps.

DarkNeogen.
