Question about Samsung Audio Players & Recorders
By turning the unit off and on the "whirrring" sound will disappear.
Of late I must repeat the action up to 20 times before the sound disappears
Try a different power socket, there might be some other equipments connected on the same powergroup that cause this.

This returns all values in the Setup menus to the default settings.
≥Yes: The password screen is shown if "Ratings" (??? page 26) is set. Please enter the same password. After "INIT" on the display disappears, turn the unit off and on again.
Page 36 shows how to reset everything.
You have forgotten your ratings password. Reset all the settings to Factory Preset.
While stopped and "DVD/CD" is the source, press and hold ['Square Icon' button for STOP] on the main unit and [S10] on the remote control until "Initialized" disappears from the television. Turn the unit off and on again. All settings will return to the default values.
