I inserted the right batteries, connected my Tocky Touch to my computer so as not to lose the built-in audio, left it connected to my computer, and unfortunately forgot for a little while to look at it.
After a few times turning the computer on and off - during which the Tocky also turned on and off with the computer - I noticed that the "Tocky" drive was no longer appearing in the list of drives on the computer, the Tocky was staying off, and no attempt to turn it on was working. Not much time has passed at all, I am guessing that the batteries are not yet drained, but nothing in the instructions seems to revive the Tocky. Any ideas?

<p>Apple iPod touch is a personal audio player with the ability
to store and play MP3 files, digital video and downloadable games and
applications. The unit is powered by a rechargeable battery. When charging the
battery for the first time, ensure that the battery is fully charged. From
there you can turn it on or removing the device from the charger, if desired,
regardless of battery level. <br />
<p>1. Enter the main connection for the iPod cable to the
socket at the bottom of the iPod touch. <br />
<p>2. Insert the small plug into a USB port on your computer.
Turn on the computer. Alternatively, an iPod charger, sold separately, you can
recharge your iPod touch with a socket. Connect the wall charger into an AC
outlet. Insert the plug on the door of the small wall charger. The battery icon
located in the upper right corner of the screen, the battery is charging. <br />
<p>3. Let the battery fully charged. When the battery icon to
indicate the device is fully charged, remove the iPod from the cable. <br />
Do a full power cycle (pull the battery if you have to) try again. Sometimes touch screen smart phones lose connection with the actual touch drivers they have built in. Happened to my friends Thunderbolt all the time.
Check your phone to make sure it is set up properly. Open the back of the phone by pressing your fingertip on the small lever that opens the battery area. The battery cover will come off in your hand. Insert three "AAA" batteries into the back of the phone so you can use the night light feature. Replace the battery cover by sliding it into the battery area and clicking it into place with your fingers. Connect the phone to the telephone phone jack by connecting one end of the wire to the phone and another end to the wall jack. Connect the handset to the phone by inserting the end of one end of the curly phone wire to the handset and the other end into the side of the phone. Listen to the dial tone by pressing the speakerphone or picking up the handset to make sure your Innovage LCD touch panel phone is connected.
Review calls you missed. Use the up and down arrows on the Innovage LCD touch panel phone to view the caller ID phone numbers.
Use the night light to view the Innovage LCD touch panel in the dark. Slide the switch on the front of the panel to turn the night light function on. Slide the switch to the off position to turn the night life off.
Adjust the volume on your speaker by selecting the speaker loudness that you want. Press the hands free button once and press the "Delete" button. Choose a loudness from one to four.
Press the hold button on the front of your Innovage LCD touch panel phone. This will activate the hold function when you are on a call and it will allow music to play while someone is on hold. The hold music is built in to the phone and will automatically play when you press hold.
Save a phone number as a VIP number on your Innovage LCD touch panel phone. Press set and save when an important number comes onto your caller identification. This makes it harder to delete the phone number by accident.
Two mistakes we all make.
ONE: check the way you inserted the batteries. Look at the picture on the battery case thing. One spring is negative the other is positive.
TWO: the light is made to turn on ONLY when you flip the mirror down or the light up. the metal connections touch and you complete the circuit, no buttons necessary. they built this produced pretty ghetto to keep it cheap i guess.
To charge the battery, choose one of the options below:
Connect the device to your computer (not your keyboard) using the included cable to charge the battery and sync. Your computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If the device is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the battery may drain.
Connect iPhone or iPod touch to a power outlet using the included cable and a USB power adapter to charge the battery.
An icon in the upper-right corner of the screen shows battery charging status. If you charge the battery while syncing or using iPhone or iPod touch, it might take longer to charge. Note: If using a portable computer, make sure it is plugged into power and that the lid or display is open. If the lid is closed, the computer may go into standby, sleep, or hibernation mode and iPhone or iPod touch may not charge. Important: If iPhone or iPod touch is very low on power, it may display one of the following images indicating that the device needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it. If the device is extremely low on power, the display may be blank for up to two minutes before one of the low-battery images appears. If you don't see the white charging or plug icons, your iPhone or iPod touch may be connected with a FireWire cable. Disconnect the FireWire cable and connect the iPhone or iPod touch to a USB cable or dock. that should be everything you need to know about charging an iPod Touch. If you require further assistance please feel free to followup with additional comments. If this solution solved the problem please feel free to rate it. Thanks and have a great day-Midwest-Tek
Try plugging it into your computer. Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the screen goes black (can take longer than 10 seconds) then let go of the sleep button (the button on the top of the unit) while keeping the home button held in (the button on the front of the iPod). Keep the home button held in until your computer recognizes new hardware. You should hear some sort of sound coming from your computer speakers. That and the "installing new hardware" notice should come up in your taskbar (this is where you computer shows the clock). Let go of the home button once this happens. Open up iTunes and then restore it. Keep in mind, that by restoring it, you will lose all data!!!!!
1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit. 2. Connect your remote to the computer. 3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in. 4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware". 5. The remote will go through the firmware update. 6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote. Now, put the remote back into safe mode, then take the battery out and re-insert it. The calibration screen should come up. Touch the red dots to calibrate the screen. Hope that helps! -D
Hello Karim... If you had the Zen Touch 20 Gb like I just have right now, try to reset it. Here's how: Set the POWER/ LOCK SWITCH to the left, so the player is locked (make sure it was on). You can see a small hole in the leftmost side, insert a hair pin or a thin wire to the slot and push gently (be sure it is the hole in the left side, the hole in the right is the microphone). After you'd done that, it would reset. Turn it on again, and hope that solve your problem.
Another thing to do is to connect your player to a computer and browse the file. Don't do anything, just open browse the files. Then after awhile, plug it off from the computer... I haven't tried this, but this one is posted on one of the thread, and solved the unresponsive touch pad or keys.
