How do you set a magnita on a mower

The easiest way is to loosen the coils two bolts, slide it back and place a business card (feeler gauge takes to much time), in between the coil and the flywheel. Turn the flywheel until the magnets pull the coil in against the flywheel. Tighten the flywheel nuts and remove your business card.

Remove fly wheel

Need model and type of engine, but usually you just remove the cover, then remove the nut securing the flywheel. Then you can use a flywheel puller or apply a little upward pressure on the flywheel with a small pry bar and gently tap the opposite top corner of the flywheel and it should pop loose. Don't hit the flywheel too hard.

Yardworks 270-1241 battery full charge, sound like fan runs no motor, blade goes around, help

sounds like your starter pawl is stripped. remove your starter and inspect the pawl (gear). also check your flywheel teeth for chipping. this is usually a replacement part. If your flywheel is good just change the pawl on the starter itself

Trouble with flywheel removal.

Yes, it's called a flywheel puller. Assuming it's a Briggs engine, it would be available from any shop that's a Briggs and Stratton dealer. If you want the part #, let me know and I'll get it for you. I'm not in my shop now.
