Question about Taylor Ice Cream Makers
There is no freezer operation after pressing the AUTO key. The Unit is plugged in, there isn't a fuse blown, and I have tried to reset the freezer but none of these things work. What could be the problem?
Try these sites:
The thermostat has gone bad or the refrigerant charge is low...check the thermostat to make sure that it is calling for the refrigeration system to run, make sure power is getting to the compressor and then make sure the compressor is cooling properly...
If compressor is running them the t-stat is okay and there is a problem there....is it is cycling on and off then the t-stat is bad.....
if it is running continuously then you probably have a refrigerant leak...it needs to be found, fixed, and the system recharged...

Sound like you might have a loose wire or ribbon cable, might even be a loose wire on switch.Be sure to turn breaker off to machine and unplug it before you check them. Also check the motor reset.
