Internet connection for mobile phone can be done in two ways.
via GPRS connection: -gprs settings will come from your mobile service provider -it can be provided to you via manual entry to your phone settings -it can be via plug and play OTA (over the air) -if its plug and play, all you have to do is save it once you recieved the SMS -once you have saved the settings you should have access with the internet (data rates apply via mobile service provider)
Wireless connection: -you should have active WLAN connection -go to web icon and press connect,it will automatically look for possitive/active connection -once your wireless name/wifi name of your router show, select it then connect -enter the network key of your router once asked -try to visit any website, once site was loaded, your good to go!
You can connect the Wii to the internet, either through a wireless internet connection or by plugging a internet line directly into the rear port on the Wii. Once you are sure there is internet accessible to the Wii, there will be an option in the network settings of the Wii to set up the internet and any internet access information needed. once you have done that, simply feed your game disk into the disc drive on the console and it will load. select the multi-player game mode on the home screen of Black Ops and you will be allowed to play online, barring any parental controls preventing this.
In the back of the blu ray player there is an internet type connection. Coonect your internet cable there and to the internet plug in the wall. Click on menu and follow the propmts. You may need to update the firmware. To do that go to www.samsung.com and look for updated firmware for your machine. You may need to download it to a flashdrive if you don't have internet connection near your player as it was the case for me. netgear makes a product that allows you to access the internet and stream video and movies via an 110 v outlet. Sounds like there is an issue with bandwidth on your internet connection. Either you have a lot of sisters using your bandwidth, your ADSL connection is on the slow side, or both. Your Xbox isn't getting the bandwidth it requires to operate smoothly.
There are ways to configure your router to allocate bandwidth to connected devices in proportions that you set. You could have 70% and they have 30%.
Also check that they're not watching streaming video or downloading stuff at the same time you play. Alternatively just hide their laptops. :)
If you are playing the same game as a friend, you can press the ps button and bring up their name in your friends list, press triangle and select either join game, or invite friend. But first you have to be inside a pregame lobby in order to invite someone. If however you are connecting via LAN which is linking two PS3's together then you have to use the LAN setting instead of online play.
invitation and accepting is one thing but that doesn't mean they can get in and it's a possibility that they're having a problem getting in which is why you should alway update via internet when it comes to this
Your sister was accessing the wireless access point at school which is connected to the Internet/WEB access via a router and the school's broadband service provider.
For you to access the Internet using your wireless adapter on your laptop, you need your own wireless access point and connect it to a broadband ADSL or cable modem and then connect it to an Internet Service Provider. Some Internet Service Providers (cable and ADSL) can supply a combined modem/router/wireless Access point.
If you already have a broadband modem all you need is a wireless access point/router. You only need to configure the wireless access point and your wireless adapter so they will communicate with each other. Folow the instructions in the manuals.
