Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4i45GV%20R3.0/?cat=Manual

Download the manual, for detailed setup instuctions.

The bios can set to reset by removing the cmos battery on the mainboard and insert it the same way again.

But you have to setup the bios settings, clock, date, boot settings.
The battery can also be renewed, it sometimes rans out of power.
The battery is a cr 2032 3 volts watch type.

Try not to upgrade the bios, unless you 100% sure it`s the right mainboard !!!!!!!!
Flashing the bios with a wrong one, will destroy the mainboard.

Good luck

Hi, I have a asrock P4vm890 motherboard, the problem is when i go into bios to change the boot sequence to first boot from dvd, the bois freezes on me. what could be the cause.

First of all, Windows would crash.

Leads me to think hardware problem, not software.

Further to suspect the Processor fan, and finned Heatsink underneath; are dirty.

Even more further to wonder about the condition, of the Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard.
(They are Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, to be more specific)

No?
Then suspect the Power Supply. Try one from another KNOWN to be working computer, (And is Compatible), for a test unit.

I have an acer aspire one series ZG5 that wont boot up in windows? what do i do?

Somehow the BOIS password has been enabled. If you dont know this password then you going to prob have to take to a computer shop unless you know how to access the motherboard and remove the cmos battery and short the terminals for 10 seconds. this will erase the memeory and reset the bois to default which doesnt require a password.
Hope this helps

Password on bois

When I lost my windows password, I like to reset Windows Password with Windows Password Reset 9.0 and I think it is excellent and professional!
Once the password is removed, there is no need to type any passwords but to leave it blank, and click the user name to instantly log on Windows.
