Please, go to this link and download the driver: http://www.filestube.com/p/pc+camera+drivers+mediafire
Please, make sure the driver is compatible with your Operating System (check out which is your Operating System: Start>right click Computer>Properties)
Double click on the downloaded file and start installation. Continue>Allow if prompted. Plug in your webcam if prompted. Finish installation, unplug the webcam and restart computer. Plug in the camera again-it should work now.
Check whether you have install CAM drivers properly (Go to device manager and check for any problem indicators). If drivers are installed correctly, your CAM should be auto detected by application skype, google viedio chat. try one of these.
I solved my problem by pressing fn+esc at the time of sarting easycapture. it gives us the option to download few neccessory things and after downloading the option torestart the laptop. after that camera start working.
yes but you have to set primary camera control from control panel. if you are running windows OS then go to control panel and find "hardware and sound"
from there select:
expand applicable menu and disable the internal camera so that the primary camera used will run as the external installed camera. (this will need to be done after camera is installed)
You need to click on [Start] then click on [My Computer] and then [Acer Crystal Eye Webcam] will show up then click on the [Camera]. If this does not work then it could be that the cam driver needs reinstalling or maybe faulty. Take it back to your dealer!
Double check that the sam is installed and enabled in Device Manager.
Click Start Menu
Right Click on My Computer and select Properties
CLick the Hardware tab
Click Device Manager
Now expand the box (click the little + on the left) of imaging devices
If you see your webcam, doulble click on it and look under Device Status and see if it says it's disabled or not functioning properly.
If it is disabled, simply enable it and it should would.
