Can't plug headphones into Hanns-G HL269DPB?

Is there a place where I can plug in my headphones on my Hanns-G monitor? It has horrible built-in speakers and I'd like to use my headphones instead, but I can't seem to find the place to plug it in.

I'm not asking for help with the speakers. I want to know where I can find the headphone jack?

Apparently, there is no headphone jack. Thanks for the 0 help though.

Try installing the Acer Monitor software and disabling the the desktop sound card under 'My Computer'. 'Properties','Hardware Devices'.

Let me know if you need help doing this, or need more help.

Can't get the built in webcam to work on my computer

well....the Webcam has it's own connection to the PC, (typically a USB cable,) but the sound will come out of your speakers.....so if you have your speakers built into your monitor, then yes, there needs to be a 2nd cable from the monitor to the back of the PC. It should have a headphone jack at each end; there will be only one place on the monitor it will fit. On the back of the PC, there should be a small round pale-green connection to plug-in near the USB ports, (unless you have added your own separate sound card, then it should go there.)

If the video is not working, then check if it is plugged into the EXACT same USB port. You do not note what OS you're using....but usually I recommend a device be removed from the device manager, then rebooted several times before attempting to re-install it.

How to get rid of main menu on my hanns-g hw173d that keeps on popping. help me to solve this please

It's not a very good solution, but you can open the monitor and disconnect the button-panels plug on the mainboard. Afterwards the buttons don't work any more (surprise) but the control panel disappears.

EARPHONES NOT ABLE TO PLUG INTO MONITOR.

Hi, I hope you've solved the problem.  But if the first solution does not work for you maybe this one will.

I looked at the specs for your monitor. LINE IN is for plugging in a device that makes sound, so this is not the right hole (called a jack) for the headphones plug.  Look on the back of your computer for a hole that is outlined with light green.  You wrote that you removed " the audio wire that connects the monitor to the CPU", this would be the place to plug in the headphones.
