Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE BACK WHERE THE CORD CONNECTS. FROM THERE I WOULD TEST THE DOOR SWITCH. IF BOTH OF THOSE ARE FINE, I WOULD TEST CONTINUITY ON THE THERMAL FUSE MOUNTED ON THE HEATING ELEMENT. THERE ARE GENERALLY TWO THERMAL DEVICES ON THE ELEMENT AND IT IS THE SMALLER OF THE TWO WHICH IS MOUNTED HIGHER THAN THE OTHER. YOU SHOULD READ O OHMS ON A VOLTMETER. CHECK YOUR VENTING IF THE FUSE IS BLOW FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS
