How much is the logic timer? I am very disgruntled b/c on Saturday I had the repair guy out to fix the coupling... he didn't even check to see if it switched between cycles. He only made sure it SPUN. Isn't this his fault and the company should be responsible for diagnoising the entire problem hence why I paid 69.95 for a service call & diagnosis. Please let me know as I'm not sure how to proceed next. Thanks.

You are correct! Call the company and state that he did NOT complete the diagnostic of your machine and should do so at NO FURTHER EXPENSE TO YOU!

My whirlpool steam duet washer won't pour water in the wash cycle

There is no output from the control panel to switch on the inlet valve, so check the inlet valve at this time of the cycle. Also check the water level pressure sensor switch.
Choose another program to confirm if not the controller seems to be suspect.

Whirlpool top load washer won't advance through cycles

A small motor that rotates the timer has gone bad. Common practice is to replace the timer. Usually a mechanical timer of this type is less expensive than a computerized timer.

Why won't my whirlpool model #LSR8233JQ0 go through the rinse cycle or the spin cycle

i have no info on this model, but if its a front loader then you will be looking at your drain pump motor as at the start of the rinse and spin cycles it will need to drain if it cannot it will not even attempt to continue on, so take that little drain pump cover off and have a look inside the propeller it may just be jammed up, if not it may be blocked somewhere along the hose or just a faulty pump altogether, if its a top loader you will be looking for the same thing but if it isn't the pump it will be the lid switch that senses the lid has been shut as all whirlpool top loaders must be able to activate the lid switch or else it cant spin (simply a safety feature to prevent injury), get back to me if you have any questions

This is for a Whirlpool washer and dryer thin stack. All four of the wash cycles work AND all four of the spin cycles work, but the rinse cycles do not work. I have to manually skip it forward past the...

Hello,

I would suspect the water inlet valve as being the problem,if it drains the water and spins the lid switch is going to be good. The thing exclusive to rinse cycles is that they only fill with cold water, and that is what i suspect the problem being is that it's not filling with cold water on the rinse cycle because of a bad water inlet valve.
