Question about Computers & Internet
Try shutting off the computer then enter safe mode by tapping the F8 key untill the system boots. Select " Safe Mode" from the list and run system restore again while in safe mode. If you're lucky the system will restore as it should.

Log into Windows and press Acer Empowering Key to launch, you can use that utility to restore the system.
If you have a pqservice partition but alt f10 does not work there is a file called mbrwrwin.exe and rtmbr.bin which is needed to install the acer missing magic code all you have to do is type the following on a dos prompt. mbrwrwin install rtmbr.bin it adds the file to a slot
Once you have done that reboot the computer and wait it takes a while to restart, it then it seems to find new hardware (dont know what it finds) then do a reboot and then you can alt f10 to your hearts content.
Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Toggle the display by pressing Fn+F8 (Function key+F8). Wait a few seconds between attempts in order to allow the system to switch display ports.
Attach an external display to the system and power it on. Once you think it has had time to boot, toggle the display as described above.
Do Either displays work at any point during either test?
If no, the display chipset on the system board has failed & the system board would need to be replaced. If only the external display functions then you have a failed LCD, or the cable/connectors between the LCD and the system board are suspect.

SOURCE: safe mode wont shut off
Possible that the PC's operating software- OS- is corrupt . It ispossible there are problems in the registry files ,the RAM or the main drive of the hard disc.
I think the OS and the drivers need to be reinstalled if the system is not responding to a RESTORE

The Windows inside your netbook has been so corrupted by viruses that even its own recovery fails. You should try a factory restore: while the One boots (the Acer screen is on) press F10 - this will launch the recovery process, follow it with the instruction on the screen. If even this fails then the corruption has damaged even the recovery partition.
In that case there is only one thing left to do: you will have to order and buy at Acer a recovery disk and use it (with an external cd unit) to reinstall. You do that here
