New refrigerator leaking under water filter into drawer
There is a drain tube located under the panel of most freezers. If that clogs up, the auto defrost can't work. The freezer defrosts by evaporating all the moisture out of the compartment. So, check that first. Secondly, a leaky door seal can also cause that problem. You can order door seals online or on Amazon.

Most appliance stores that sell this fridge have the accessories for it. Additionally, big box stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. along with larger hardware chains (TruValue, Aubuchon, etc.) will likely either stock them or be able to order those parts. Finally, there's eBay & Amazon.
Hi friend, I appreciate your post!
I see your question is labeled under Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHB2844LF, and you are having difficulty engaging the water filter. Based off that model you should be able to push on the face of the water filter and slide the old cartridge out. First, to install the new cartridge you would need to remove the caps off of it. Secondly, using the alignment guide slide the new filter into the housing until it stops against the snap-in connector. Thirdly, push firmly until you hear the click which indicates that your filter has been engaged. Lastly press a glass against the water dispenser to verify no leaks are present at the filter housing. Hope this helps. -Matt
