Calibration of the sphygmomanometer

Several of our Moore BP sphygmomanometer's are no longer calibrated. Does anyone know how to calibrate these? Moore's customer service was unable to help.

Unscrew the silver ring from around the dial face. Lift off the clear cover. Gently pull the needle off the pin. Re-align needle. Gently push the needle back on to the pin taking care not to push to hard or bend the needle. I hope this corrects your problem.

For Needles that won't come off. Use the same instructions as above until you get to the needle removal. Instead place small sharp object in center to stabilize it and gentle push/slide needle to zero. Tacks usually work as the small sharp object.

The spring for recoil in a mechanical pointer will over time lose its force, therefore, the needle will no longer continue to identify in place by an overpressure generated offset, there is a deformation caused to the spring and across the board are going to give a different resultant force on mechanical progress, changing the pointer would only since can eliminate the evil, but keep in mind that the measurement at some points now may differ because of different operating point in the mechanics. but its in this case maybe negligible but beware on some medical meters its very important the mechanical indicators can vary greatly in repositioning of a needle pointer.

To adjust needle to zero: If the adjustment screw cannot be found on the outside, remove the tubing from the meter. Insert a small screwdriver into the barb until you feel resistance. Gently turn the screwdriver until it meshes with the screw. Turn to adjust the needle back to zero
To check calibration/accuracy: Use a "T" connector to hook up a known accurate meter into the system and compare the readings. If they match, great. If not, the meter needs to be returned to the manufacturer.

Problem with the HP LaserJet 4730mfp All-In-One Printer Unable to use ADF. Red light under start button.

Do the calibration for the scanner.

1. Place letter- or A4-size paper in tray 1, and adjust the side guides.
2. On the control-panel Home screen, scroll to and touch Administration.
3. Touch Troubleshooting.
4. Touch Calibrate Scanner.
5. Touch Calibrate to print the first pass of the calibration target(Print out).
6. Place the first pass of the calibration target face-down in tray 1 so that the arrows are facing into the MFP.
7. Touch Start to print the second pass.
8. Place the calibration target face-up into the ADF, and adjust the side guides.
9. After the calibration target has passed through the ADF once, reposition it face down in the ADF and touch Start.
10. Place the calibration target face-down on the scanner glass, touch Start, and scan the page.
After this pass, the calibration is complete.
Calibration will fails if print quality is not good...ensure that print quality must be in order..
Once calibration successfully done, restart printer several times & verify start button light, if its green every time 'u' re success. if not cleaning required for CCD which is major work & not suggestable..

It may not need calibration. It may simply be where and how *********** is placing her arm when she takes her BP at home. She should keep her arm or wrist at chest (heart) level when using the monitor at home. Also, she should remain very still while doing this. If it needs recalibration, contact Homedics via their website.

It needs a service, but it would be better to throw it away and buy an electronic one. The one you have is notoriously inaccurate. The new electronic ones are cheap, very accurate and calibrate themselves.

Blood pressure reading 150/76. Manual Blood pressure 130/72

A monitor using Hg is only a valid monitor reading. Most electronic devices produce approximate results and are mostly good for taking several readings daily and obtaining a mean daily BP. Device calibration appears to be not accessible to the the user. Also, depending on age & condition of your dad, sequential reading must take place after elapse of enough time for circulation to be at steady state in the arm again, or if you immediately after a measurement make another, even with the same monitor you will obtain a different result.

have a china made handheld double sim touch-screen phone. The device is Winkoy T6688. The touch screen got damaged and after reseting the device, the following notice appears after turning it on:

"Calibration wizard. You have to calibrate the touch-screen. Click anywhwere on the screen with your stylus to start calibration".

Of course you can´t but there´s no other option because it won´t accept any other input until it´s calibrated apparently. Does anyone know how to bypass this calibration wizard on start up?
