Question about Delta 31 735B 6" Belt, 12' Disc 3 Ph Finishing Sander
Got this to replace my old trusty belt only Delta sander. The new one does great at dust collection for the disc, but has no opening/pathway that I can see on the machine or in the manual that allows for collection and I and my students are coated in dust. The plate that anchors the belt component to the base has a solid plate attached. Could it be that this is supposed to have an opening?
The belt cover that does down the front of the belt, below the table, should have an opening inside the baes/vacuum unit. Make sure this isn't clogged with buildup.
