I can see something called "Exp Sim" in the bottom right corner of my 1100D. It flashes sometimes and is displayed continuously when I click a photo. What is this?

"Expo Sim" (Exposure Simulation) shows what your picture would look like with your chosen settings. For example, put the camera in full manual mode, start Live View, start turning dials and you'll see changes in the look.

The monitor display is black, I want to view the shot I am taking with the monitor not the viewfinder.

Rotate the Live View switch located just above the circular multiselector.

Full details are in the "Live View" section of the manual (beginning on page 37 in my copy).

Displays file error message when trying to playback still images and video footage

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck

Viewing photos on the htc touch diamond.

If you take lower resolution photos on the Diamond, especially photos for contacts, they aren't as big as the other photos, so you must zoom in for them to fill the whole screen. For that, simply do a half circle clockwise motion on the picture itself.

Also, if you took larger photos with the camera on it's side, you must turn it to it's side again so the picture goes back to landscape mode.

Poor display quality (wallpapers, photos etc) of samsung g600

u should save images as .bmp and than transfer them to your g600, or save them as .jpeg but resolution should be 240x320 or less for good previewing!
Pictures in my photos just zoom in and out and quality is way better!
Or save some of them in mms save and then you can view it in full screen in that sms.
hope it helps a bit..

With the camera in Playback mode (reviewing pictures you have already taken), press the DISP button until the LCD shows what you want -- no information, basic information, or full shooting information.

Viewing pictures on tv

This suggests a possible fault with the TV A/V circuit. You can check this of course by trying it out on another TV

Can I view photos on my iPod photo/"Color"? nano?

Depending on the model, to view photos on your iPod photo/"Color", you either need to import photographs using Apple's iPod Camera Connector, or transfer images from your computer through iTunes 4.7 or higher to the iPod. For the current iPod U2 Special Edition "Color", iPod "Color" (20.0 GB), the version of the iPod photo (60 GB) introduced on February 23, 2005 and renamed iPod "Color" (60 GB) on June 28, 2005, as well as the discontinued iPod photo (30 GB), the simplest way to transfer photos from many digital cameras to your iPod is to purchase and use Apple's iPod Camera Connector (US$29). This device simply allows you to directly connect a digital camera to the camera connector and in turn connect the camera connector to the iPod "dock" port. Photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector are immediately viewable, with the exception of RAW format images and video clips. However, photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector cannot be immediately viewed as a slideshow with transitions. On versions of the iPod photo (40 GB, 60 GB) released prior to February 23, 2005, photos transferred directly from a digital camera using an iPod-compatible media reader are not immediately viewable, but photos transferred through iTunes 4.7 or higher, which converts photos into a "thumbnail" format, can be viewed on the iPod photo itself or displayed using the iPod photo connected to a TV or projector. The iPod nano, introduced September 7, 2005, can display photographs on the internal display "loaded" from a computer, but as it lacks video out, it cannot display photographs on a television or projector. The iPod nano also does not support the iPod Camera Connector or third-party solutions, so photos cannot be transferred from a camera. For information regarding the iPod nano and accessory compatibility, please refer to Apple Support
