Take print head out, clean with alcohol wipe or swab, re install. Have had to do it more than once if ink has dried a lot. The only other option is to replace head.

Your print head is clogged or damaged. Press the print head into a paper towel. You should get a nice block of black or three stripes of color. If not, try placing print head on paper towels soaked with warm water to get the ink flowing (ink may soak through paper towels, so beware of where you do this). Then try pressing the print head onto dry paper towels as before. If you can't get the ink flowing, you need a new cartridge because the print head is clogged with dried up ink.

Tip

Keep your ink-jet printer printing

Print head or ink cartidge clogged? Prevent this common problem. If you don't use your ink-jet on a regular basis, opting to use a laser for faster printing and sharper text, pick a day of the week (anyday) and make an entry into whichever calendar application you use to send a recurring reminder to print a test page from your ink-jet. Printing at least once a week will reduce the possibility that the cartridge or print head will clog with dry ink.

Won't print...says it is printing but doesn't

If you have lots of flashing error lights or electrical problems then it is likely to be electrical.

However, if like most... and your
printer has just been left unused for some time? You probably just have an ink clog.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon,Epson HP and removing those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints whendried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to use the MagicInkjet Flush kit to soak the print head and you should be printing again like new.

Hi
If yourPSC 1210v printer has been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog and the standard cleaning is not enough to clear the clogged ink.

Assuming your HP 56 57 still has ink? Empty they are about 30g Each 1g over that is 1ml of unused ink.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.

After replacing cartridge in dell 810 the colours printing wrong

Hi

If you haven´t used your inkjet printer for a while it may just be dry ink clogging some of the nozzles in the print head.

To check if yours is clogged...

Remove the ink cartridges
Holding the cartridge upright and press down gently onto a paper towel.

The colour cartridge
you should see YELLOW, MAGENTA (red) and CYAN (blue)

But if any colours are missing? The inks have probably just clogged up? and you will need to buy a new one or if you know you still have ink then you can easily unclog it with a
Magic Inkjet Flush Kit (Which you can find on Ebay)

MIXED COLOURS
If you have others colours coming out then the colours have mixed...
Sometimes caused when people put tape onto the inks to keep them moist but instead the colours mix through capilary action.

If so... leave print head sitting on a paper towel for a few mins until the correct colours appear.

To prevent an ink clog it is best if you print something regularly about every 10 days to keep the tiny print head nozzles / jets open. Otherwise the ink in the print head will thicken. Then it´s like trying to pass a camel through the eye of a needle.

So to preven inkjet ink from clogging print something every 10 days if you dont have anything to print, use something like these test prints

HP 812C will not print yellow but everything else is A-OK Repeated cleanings have NO effect. Cleaned contacts on printer where it connects to cartridge, no effect. HP 23 cartridge only has about 10 pages...

HTML clipboardHi,
It you haven´t used your printer for a while It sounds like the yellow has clogged up in the print head.
Although you have ink you need to print something regularly about every 10 days to keep the tiny jets open
otherwise it´s like trying to pass a camel through the eye of a needle.

So the inks may have clogged up?

The empty weights are 65g C6615A [No. 15] black and
90g C1823A color ink cartridge
anything over that... 1g = 1ml of unused ink.

So if you still have ink you can easily unclog it with a HTML clipboard Magic Inkjet Flush Kit (find it on Ebay)

Clogged ink jets prevent printing any thing. how

You can try to use the software the came with your printer on your computer to clean the heads. If that doesn't work then you will need to buy new ink cartridges.

Jets clogged?

Hi, ink cartridge nozzles (jets)dry out and clog even if the cartridge is full of ink. This happens especially if you don't print often or haven't replaced the cartridge in a long time or if the "new" cartridge sat on some shelf for a long time. You can try a wet paper towel on the bottom of the cartridge where the ink comes out. Hold it there for at least a minute, then put the cartridge back in the printer and try to print. Have some hand cleaner ready-your fingers will get a little ink on them. Even if it only partially prints, then you know the problem is that the cartridge nozzles are clogged. Good luck..
