I bought a new belt for my golds gym trainer 420. I took the belt off the front roller fit snug. I try 2 put the roller back in place, but the side with the motor belt will not sit correctly in place.

Most treadmills have two screws at the back of the treadmill that adjusts tension on the belt. If the belt is staying on the left side of the treadmill pad then adjusting the left ***** out should make it go back towards the center.

Running belt is sliping when on treadmill - is this the running belt or the driv belt problem. I can stand on the treadmill and stop to belt and front drive wheel from spinning - so my assumption is the...

If the front roller is stopping with the walking belt, it is the drive belt. You may be able to tighten it, if it's not too old. The easiest way is to remove the belt by turning the motor by hand while pushing the belt away from the motor. Then adjust the motor back a 16th to an 8th of an inch or so, put the roller side of the belt on the roller side of the pulley, so that you have enough slack to put the belt on the motor. Now, while you pull the belt onto the front roller pulley, turn the motor and walk the belt back on. If it won't go on, this way, you probably have the motor too far back, making it too tight. Good Luck!

Need to replace treadmill belt

Belt replacement is not a small task. If you are not mechanically incline with basic tools, find a professional. With the belt should be general instruction on how to replace belt. Side or straddle covers will have to come off, then front and rear rollers. Pay close attention to how it comes apart because you will have to put it all back together.

Small rip in treadmill belt

No really. You need to replace the entire walking belt. Not to hard of a job and most replacement belts come with some instructions. We use www.treadmillpartszone.com for parts.
