I have zotac 512mb graphic card. whenever i attach this on my motherboard and start the computer than my computer will start but the sceen will become blank

either it\'s not supported by the OS,ie windows, or not configured properly in the (F2 for set up) @ the start, this will take you into the bios, then use the arrow keys to move around, their are instructions on the bottom/side of screen, find the boot up graphics sequence & change it to boot ( PCI-E first, then ON BOARD/AGP second) if it goes ups, & you an on board socket, then go back & swop them round & take the card out, & use the on board socket until you can boot up & instal the drivers for the card......

another way is to download the drivers, or get the disk that came with the card.

then switch it on, then when it starts, press & hold the power button, until it powers off, then switch it back on again, & you should be given the choice to boot up in safe mode, log in with safe mode, & install the drivers.

then do the bios thing i said before.

Compaq C700 laptop screen shows horizontal lines and the screen seems to be split into several sections

The LCD screen is faulty and will need to be replaced, go to Type: make and model refine search to screen, first! hook a spare monitor to the video output usually on the back, if picture okay! the above mentioned needs to be changed, but! if both show the same symptom it is the video graphics card that is part of the motherboard.

PC wont boot

Check your specs for this one on your Card (should be on the box or in your included documentation), but I believe your card is PCIE v2.1. If this is the case, your card won't work. Your mainboard is an older one, and you can tell by the black PCIE slot that it is only PCIE 1.0. NOTE: PCIE v2.0 cards will work with PCI v1.0 as long as they meet power requirements, etc. (yours should be fine) but there are no updates to fix this on your mainboard. Time to dig out your receipt and look over the return policy. Again, a PCI v2.0 should work OK, just not the v2.1 cards.
Please take a moment to leave feedback if I helped you out today.

You certainly have alot of options for graphics. If this was a one shot deal, maybe you don't have t worry about it. I would probably update my graphics drivers. Are you using on board graphics? If not, I would disable them. I don't believe this has anything to do with your GPU. If you would like to update your graphics driver you can do that here:
Make sure your resolution is correct in "personalization"

My screen has become blurry but you can still make the words out,it started with a thick blue line now its got worse

Hardware failure. To find out which part has failed - the screen or the video card - just try to use another monitor or tv . If the image is the same then it's the video card, if it's good it's the monitor.

My laptop boots but nothing appears on the screen

You can check this by connecting a pc monitor to the spare VGA port on your lap top and switching the screen output. (Fn and one of the number keys with a screen on it)

If the picture on you spare monitor is good, your graphics card/chip is good, if not, you've located the problem.

If you do, get a good picture on the spare monitor, switch back to your laptop screen and look closely at the screen while, is there a very faint/dark image. If so, your inverter has failed or become disconnected. If nothing, your screen has failed or become disconnected.

You can possible check these connections yourself, if you're not handy with tools then don't because its delicate work and you need to be careful to prevent further damage.

Disconnect all forms of power - batteries & ac adaptor.

Give yourself plenty of time and space.

Open the laptop, there should be plate between the keyboard and the screen. This is usually screwed and clipped into place. So remove any screws, may include the back of the screen hinges. Then prise up, very carefully, the plate, look for more screws or resistance as you go, you don't want to break it. Eventually you should overcome all the small clips and remove the plate.

Look for ribbon connectors, probably 2 or 3, check make sure they're all home and good. If one is loose, then re-attaching it properly could well be the cure to your problem.

If they were all connected properly, then you've probably got a failed inverter. Needs replacing and this is where I stop, you need a diagram or repair manual.

There are to things that come to mind, the LCD panel is bad, " will need to be replaced" or the video cable from the motherboard to the screen has come loose and will need to be reseated back into place. I would also suggest hooking a spare monitor to the laptop to rule out the video graphics card on the motherboard.

There was a TSB about the motherboards on the V series describing severe video issues and Nvidia GPU failures. Many consumers got a motherboard replacement. Try using a laptop cooler in the meantime and see if that helps a little. Also try googling V6000 video and see how many others got nuked by this poor design.
