Okay, you're using IE, go to Tools - Manage add-ons and remove it from there, no, it is not the same but similar.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I restore yahoo as my homepage I now have inbox.com which I do not want and cannot seem to get rid of

If you can search in the search bar on their home page search for yahoo and click on the one you want in the list of results.

You didn't say which internet browser you are using but it's basically the same thing you have to do. Make sure you only have 1 browser open and no other tabs open.
Go to the browsers internet settings / options and in the General settings or the first tab at the top, look for the bit that has the yahoo web address you selected. Then you should be able to make it your default home page by selecting something like "use current" . Click on Apply, then OK or just OK if there is no apply button. Restart browser and it should open with the page you selected.

How many more times do I have to ask the same question ??

It's quite easy to uninstall inbox.com toolbar.

1. Please go to the Start Menu. Select Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, select Control Panel Uninstall a Program.

2. Search for inbox Toolbar in the list. Select the program and click Remove button.
If you are using Windows Vista/7, click Uninstall up near the top of that window.

3. You need to remove the toolbar from your browser. If you just delete from your program list, the toolbar still appear on your browsers.
4.or uninstall a browser and install a new browser

How do i remove www.inbox.com from my computer

Removing www.inbox.com
Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" from the menu.
Click "Add or Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a Program." Wait for the list of programs installed on your computer.
Click "Inbox Toolbar" in the list of programs. Click "Remove" or "Uninstall/Change."
Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to remove the toolbar from your computer.
Wait for the toolbar to be removed and click "OK" when prompted
If www.inbox.com is not in the programs list /remove programs ( it probably isn't there!)
Go to windows menu bar, Tools.. Manage Add-Ons.. Click on: Search Providers..
You will probably find several search providers, highlight InBox.Com it will activate your options (found at the bottom of the page)... click on ''disable suggestions'' which means it will no longer operate but will be available if you decide to use it later or click REMOVE to eliminate it altogether..
When you have done that check the box which says ''Prevent programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider''
Also check to verify what your search provider is (it will read active) and whether it's the default.

I want to unistall "Inbox.com" I've already tried to do this without any luck!

if it's an software you can probably uninstall it from control panel !!

if it does not appear over there then goto C drive > program files and find folder of inbox.com or relative folder in which files are saved. find uninstall.exe and run it.

I want to take inbox off as my home page and get yahoo back. I did the add/remove option. It deleted it from there but when I go on line inbox still comes up

Your browser has been hijacked.
It's less likely to happen if you get rid of Internet Explorer and use Google Chrome instead.
Click on the link below and choose a removal tool that isn't located on some page of inbox.com:

I have problems accessing my e-mails. The left hand column ( Inbox, drafts, sent, Spam, trash) become very large ( till the end of the screen on the right). I cannot see what e-mail I have in my Inbox....

* Try to re-open your browser.
* Check the zoom settings.
* You can also use another browser if you're having trouble with the one you currently used.

You can also try using another browser:

Chrome - http://www.google.com/chrome
Firefox - http://www.mozilla.com/
Opera - http://www.opera.com/

Thanks & Regards,
