How do I get the power to work?


Where do you connect the power if mains fed 220volt or 110volt if so try a test lamp where you plug the power in. Some periferal sets only works as a set and the power of the turntable is not mains but a lower D.C. voltage normally 12 volts. As you got another unit I suspect the supply. Ask the company that you purchased it from (If the power is something else than your mains supply) to just check your amplifier. To try to imagine the problem without the units is difficult to give help but this is all that it can be

Check 1) Power supply (Don't get mad I had to travel 250 miles to turn a key switch) 2) Start switch and levers for adjustment 3)Belt is it on or maybe stretched 4) Spindle binding 5) Does the platter turn freely

Once you find the fuse just take it out and go to your local electrical parts shop. Your looking for the type that sells transistors etc. They should sell you one.

Do one thing adjust counterweight on the back of the arm to 1.5gm or 2gm by rotating the counterweight. It will give some more pressuer on the styles and will avoid the jerking

You have to listen through the Audacity software. Once you start Audacity, click on the down-arrow on the toolbar next to the microphone symbol and choose Monitor Input. You will need to do this every time you start Audacity.
