SOURCE: using default connections on netgear allowing

The process is simple If you have ADSL internet access, just remove the network cable from your computer/laptop and plug it into the back of your wireless router (the one jack that is separated from the rest) Restart router. Enjoy

How do I fix my proxy setting

Do you need to setup a proxy for any other device on your local internet connection? Normally you do not and the TV should connect just fine. Are you using WiFi or cable to connect the TV? For fastest connection I would use a cable.

Tv

Which TV do you have? You posted this under the Viera TH-42PZ85U which does not include VieraCast (internet connection). To add the web to the TH-42PZ85U, you need to connect a Smart TV set-top box (NetGear NeoTV, a blu-ray player with the option, or a HTPC (home theater PC or an Android TV stick).

I wish that I had better news for you. If you have a different TV, please add a comment with the information. Most SmartTVs will have an ethernet port on the back with the rest of their input/output ports. Those with wi-fi networking built in still have the wired ethernet port.

I cant connect to the internet I have the cable going directly into the TV and I still cant connect to the TV can someone tell my why?

It is sad to say that Panasonic - 50" Model: TC-P50U50

lacks the ability to connect to internet.

It should have an Ethernet port.

Panasonic viera tv. Connection error 007

My TV set is PANASONIC VIERA 32AS600 series. Received error 007, canot connect to wi-fi network. In wi-fi settings, change to MANUAL, check proxy settings: delete all letters/characters in proxy address (leave blank), proxy port is not critical. Check your connection. Good luck !

I have a desktop HP connected to internet Broadband service via a "2wire" router thru my Windstream phone account. I have a Dell laptop that I'm able to use with the wireless connection...

you wont see the pc screen on the tv if that is what your expecting, if the tv is capable of receiving netflix then it will pick that up seperately from the pc, it will only need a wireless connection to access the broadband, you will also need a valid subscription to the netflix service. The fact you have proved you have a valid wireless connection means its connected. There will be an options button to select the internet content to view on viera cast

quote from panasonic ---

VIERA Cast's assorted online content just keeps getting better - in addition to the popular contents such as YouTube and Picasa Web Albums, it now offers Pandora Internet Radio, movies streamed from Netflix*, exciting sports from FOX Sports, tweeting web communications with Twitter, and even home video and audio conferencing with Skype. It also provides USB terminals for a keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor. No PC required. Skype function requires an optional communication camera TY-CC10.
Skype service will be available late June 2010.
*Netflix unlimited membership required. Service on Viera Cast TV will be available summer 2010.
*Keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor are not included.

SET UP VIERA LINK PANASONIC PT960

Can you explain a bit more please. What exactly is the problem? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the TV? Are you getting any picture or audio through to the home theatre? Have you got the home theatre setup via HDMI? Have you connected the audio from the cable to the home theatre via optical or phono? What model is your LG LCD HDTV?
I already have the manual in front of me for your home theatre system. If you can give me some more information I can help you out.
Thanks.
