C7 error The machine (brand new) keeps alarming on a C7 error meaning the foot is not down but it is. This happens so much that I am lifting the foot up and down more than sewing. Is this a fault in the new machine, has anyone had this issue and how do I fix it as it as I have followed all the 'help' instructions and its not helping at all?

When i turn on machine and start to press the foot pedal, there's an alarm nose and it flashes E3 363459? Any idea what it means and how to fix it?

Search the internet for:

Make + error code E3

Usually it will come up with what error codes mean for your brand machine. Also, check the Troubleshooting section of your manual.

Why doesn't presser foot lift?

If it is still under warranty, take it back to the vendor. Probably something is not connected or is broken.

I have error C7 on singer one plus and it wont sew at all?

I was getting a C7 error on my Singer Heritage sewing machine every time I pushed the pressure foot. I decided to see if the reverse sewing button would work and it did. Then I pushed the pressure foot to sew again and it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

Hi I have a brand new machine just out of the box and I can't get the machine to sew. The thread from the bottom is bunching up and getting the machine to stop and code c4 displays.... maybe...

It is in your top threading. Totally rethread, with the presser foot up, new needle, (flat side faces to the rear of machine and the other one may have a burr on it), now with the presser foot still up, pull your top thread, it should feed smoothly, then put the presser foot down, pull thread again, it should barely move. This should seat your thread, I am not sure what c4 means but more than likely a threading error message, tangled thread etc. Good luck, next time state your brand and model.

I keep having my thread getting tangled around the bobbin i have re-threaded the bobbin triied all different ways and it still keeps doing this, its a brand new maachine and im really annoyed

This can happen if you stop to re-position the fabric and do not have the needle down into the fabric. This usually happens when you turn a corner or are making a curved seam.

Make sure to always thread the machine with the presser foot up - this is important.

Lower and raise the threaded needle, holding onto the thread tail and bring up the bobbin thread. Take both thread tails under the presser foot and to the back of the machine.

Keep the threads to the back of the machine when you begin to sew.

Brother 8500D sewing/emb machine - upper thread stops feeding

If the thread is hanging up at the spool - this could be the way it was manufactured, a nick in the spool end or the thread is unwinding too fast, puddling and wrapping around the spool pin.

Keep the bobbin case and surrounding area clean and free of thread tangles and snips. Thread tangles in this area can cause the machine to stop.

When the presser foot is down on any sewing machine, the tension closes and you cannot manually pull the thread through.

Sulky and C & C black tends to fray more than other brands of thread.

If the problem continues, the machine will need to be serviced by a professional.

"Lower presser foot" error on SE 270D

This happened to me and I eventually realized that there is a small door flap at the top near the "4" in the threading series that can get stuck open. Normally this flap goes up and down with the presser foot, but if it gets stuck open even when the presser foot is down, tapping it or closing it manually will make the error go away.1_9_2012_12_19_55_am.jpg
