Question about SanDisk Sansa m230 MP3 Player
The screen constantly loops through an initializing and Sansa m230 screen...It doesnt turn on and the computer doesnt read it. Even when it is turned off and plugged in all the screen says is initializing and blinks. it is an M230...is it time to replace!!!?????
Please try this steps. Remove the battery from the player. Then enable the hold switch for it to show orange/red color connect the player to the computer. Right-click My Computer and click on Manage. Click on device manager and click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers, see if you have USB Mass Storage Device. Then see if you also have there Storage Volumes, right click on it and see if that is the player. If it is then click on Disk Management and try to format the player from there if it is visible if not you may have to replace the product.
