Question about Technics SL-1200MK2 Turntable
After 7 years of faithful service, my SL1200 MK2 33 and 45 RPM buttons are jamming up..Sometimes the light is on both when I try to switch between 33 and 45, or it takes a few taps to change it back. The problem seems to be (I am not a real tech nerd) the 33rpm button (it feels a bit loose or just old or something when I hit it..)..Probably need to open it up and just clean it or something, but is there an "easy way" to get to the top or the turntable? Any ideas? Cheers, Ed C Melbourne Australia.
Ed try spraying some contact spray directly in to the Buttons, push one then the other you will feel them free up Please rate my performance ttech
