Re: the right click on my mouse doesnt work.
Hi, sounds like the the switch under the right side may be broke or stuck, you can try and lift it up slightly with fingernail.(it could pop back into place) this happens when warn out or pushed very hard, could also have been weak from day 1. new ones are getting cheaper, mabey time for a new one. i hope this helps, good luck! glen

Using the keyboard it's control V for the copy and the control P for paste.on the mouse it should be right click the look at the dropdown menu for copy then when you get to the file or folder right click to find paste option.sometimes it is possible to assign the mouse for left handed use which would make the function a left click for copy and paste.also you should be able to drap and drop with a right click whilst holding it down.please vote if this is of help thanks.
if you can hear by ear after you click right button same sound as when you push left button, then it will be software problem.....
if you can't hear same sound, then microswitch is broken, or not in proper possition.....
if it's software problem, try to plug it into another usb port, or somebody elses computer, then you will see if problem persists also there....
if it doesn't work on another computer, then it will be mouses problem.... take it back to bookstore and ask them for refund or exchange

Using the Mouse Run the cursor on the screen over the text you want to copy while holding THE left click on the mouse, the text will be highlighted, the with the text you want to copy and paste highlighted right click the mouse and select "Copy" from the list, then when you want to insert the text right click the mouse in the window where you want the text and right click the mouse and select "Paste". ANY MORE QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Have the computer screen on the item you wish to "copy" then hit the Print Screen key, without copying anything else so that your picture stays on the clipboard (or "in the mouse") go to your picture editing program, ie. Windows Paint, Paint Shop Pro, IrfanView (a freee downloadable program) and click on "Edit" then "Paste" and then save the final product.
If you go into the logitech mouse setup program "Setpoint" there should be a section that tells the mouse what each button will do. It's probably got "Nothing" or something similar selected. See if you can find one that says "Right Click" or something along those lines, and select that, and press OK/Apply to save settings, and see if it changes anything.
