Canon MP970 prints blank pages. How can I FIX that problem?

Some times when you get a new cart. a fine film can be blocking the
exit hole, check that this is clear by shaking the cart. up and down
over a large piece of paper ,if you do not get any ink out ,take a small
pin and gently insert it into the exit hole and move it around in a circle,
don't go to deep, then try shaking it again..? Another idea is to replace
all the carts.(colour ones also) as some printers wont work unless you
do this, after changing carts. disconect your printer from mains supply
and leave for about 15 minuets to reset..Hope this works for you
good luck. T.C.

Only printing blank pages. Sounds like its printing but pages are blank.

Try to reset by remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts or a faulty printing head.

Printer is hardly used. Has been stored in a dry celler for 3 years. now I want to use it and can command to print pages which it does but prints blank pages. The ink cartridges are surely dried out;...

Had a good read of the manual, which can be found on this site and I think you must fill the cartridges with ink, otherwise you could cause damage to the printer if you continue running it empty. The instructions for filling them manual can be found on my tip on filling PG40, CL41. You should also try standing them first in a saucer of ink cleaning fluid which you get with refill kits. This might clean the nozzles. However I would run the expense of buying new ones first, shop around on the net, they are coming down in price!

Canon pixma iP8500 won't print, blank pages

The colour cartridge is badly clog. put tissue with warm/hot water below the head, wait for about 30 minutes. If tissue is coloured, the dried ink inside head is out. Is it not, do suction from the outlet pipe of head cleaning mechanics.

Not printing properly

Hello,

I guess that the ink level is not responding correctly. Please remove the cartridge and then clean the nozzle. or in the printer properties you can clean it automatically by command using the mouse.

If the ink replacement are original then maybe something defect in your new ink. try replace it with other ink cartridges.

After cleaning seat it back and then test. else if this not resolve then try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver of your printer.

Please tell me whatsoever the result.

may this help, -melnavz
