You may have to go to the web site of the manufacturer of the laptop and get the drivers for the web cam

After installing software the found new hardware wizard never appears so it does'nt finish installing. when I click on webcam express my built in web cam comes on instead of the sakar cam.

Hi there,

Is the webcam already plugged in while you are insalling the driver?

Try to install the driver and plug the webcam the software finishes installing.

or click start -> go to RUN (or type run if you're on vista or win7) -> then type devmgmt.msc

on the device manager

-click your computer Icon
-click action
-click scan for hardware changes

Hope this helps!

My cam not workyng

Hi! what OS are you using? have you successfully installed the cam? if yes, uninstall the current driver then re-install it back. Better yet, try to download a latest version of your webcam/cam's driver. If uninstall fails, boot your system to Safemode. hope this helps, have fun.

Hi i want to driver web cam install in window 7

HI sharad_dv

webcam driver is auto when you use Win7. you just need to install software only when you activate your webcam to take pictures.
If you use a laptop hp, you can download CyberLink YouCam page provided by HP, as well as the acer or the other.

Web cam

Most of the Web cams dont have build in mic, but if you had it with your cam, try to plug in the red plug at the back of your CPU in the red plug in beside the green plug in. use plug and play wizard that helps you to try the mic of your cam if it really works.
