How do i change the time display?

  • From the programming extension (usually 100), with the phone idle and handset in the cradle, press the FEATURE button
  • Press 9 #
  • Enter the hour (01-12) and minute (00-59)
  • Press the Recall Key to change the AM/PM Setting
  • Press the Hold Key and continue if you want to change the calendar setting.
  • Press SPKR or hang up. The correct time should display

  • You must change the time from a phone with administration priveleges. This is usually going to be the main phone, extension 100 or 101. That phone must have an LCD display to make these changes.

    Changing the Text Greeting
    The text greeting can be up to 15 characters and is displayed
    on your phone’s screen in standby mode. You may choose to
    keep the phone’s default greeting (“Sprint”), or you may enter
    your own custom greeting.
    To display or change your greeting:
    1. Select > Settings > Display > Greeting > Custom.
    2. Enter a custom greeting using your keypad and press .
    (See “Entering Text”on page 39.) (To erase the existing
    greeting one character at a time, press .
    To erase the entire greeting, press and hold .)
    Changing the BacklightTime Length
    The backlight setting lets you select how long the display
    screen and keypad remain backlit after any keypress is made.
    To change the Main LCD or Sub LCD backlight setting:
    1. Select > Settings > Display > Backlight.
    2. Select Main LCDor Sub LCD.
    3. Select Always On, Dim Only, or a preset length of time.
    To change the Keypad backlight setting:
    1. Select >Settings>Display>Backlight>Key.
    2. Select Always Off or a preset length of time.
    Note: Long backlight settings affect the battery’s talk and standby

    Change clock time.

    The XN120 I know is a PBX, so setting the time sets it for all phones connected to the PBX. The time can only be set on an XN120 system phone which has an LCD display (or a PC - see below). It's quite complicated - refer to setup guide such as

    The time on the LCD is wrong

    If you are looking at the manual for the phone itself this probably is not covered because the phone system stores the time, not the phone. I do not know which Panasonic phone system you have. Here is a helpful link to a page that contains time programming changes.

    How do I change the time on Avanti 3020 telephone?

    For the Avanti 3015 phone you have to
    1. push the feature button
    2. enter the number 82
    3. enter the time as follows
    4. Enter four digits for the current time (00 to 23 for hours and 00 to 59 for minutes).
      Enter two digits for the date (01-31)
      Enter two digits for the month (01-12)
      Enter two digits for the year (00-99)
      - The display shows the digits as you enter them - Press {SAVE}
      - The new time and date are displayed
