SOURCE: Tv comes on but turns itself off immediately. What

It may have gone into shutdown becuase it senses short circuits, or the power supply module may have failed. You need to do some reading and troubleshooting.
Right now the 5vdc standby and partial processor are working but nothing else.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools, electronics knowledge, and know safety precaution then please read on:

Go to your T.V. menu and make sure you don't have a sleep timer set. If you don't then it could be an internal problem with the T.V.

Vizio SV370XVT with LONG Warmup...Power Supply? Mainboard? T-Con?

There should be no problem related to warm-up to flat panel TVs. It is only related to CRT based TVs. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Usually in most cases the tv remote will run the dish receiver properly. Try getting your dish receiver remote to work the tv, by typing codes for that model number of the remote.
