The Sonos system streams music wirelessly from the media center, such as your computer. However, speakers must be wired physically to the 120 amplifier device. There may be speakers for sale that work wirelessly, just like a wireless mouse, but you would have to plug a device into the 120's output jack to transmit the signal to the speakers. Most speakers will not do this, if any at all.

What connections do i use to connect projector to tv?

You don't connect a projector to a TV.

A TV doesn't have the capability of supplying a source signal to another device. It can only accept a signal and display it itself. Connect a DVD player/Blu-ray player/TV receiver/Games Console to the projector directly via the AV sockets.

Use a separate sound system if you need more volume than the projector's tiny built-in speaker can provide.

Hooked hdmi dongle to projector. Used kindle fire hdx. Picture works fine but no sound from projector speakers. No sound from kindle speakers. Need to use kindle headphone jack for sound.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Check the system requirements on the Bluetooth dongle. If your system does not fit all the requirements, the device is not going to work. The requirements for the Bluetooth dongle are printed in the user manual and packaging. You may compare this to what is running on the computer by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "System." This displays the hardware running on the computer.
    • 2
Disconnect the Bluetooth dongle, restart the computer, then plug it back into a USB port. If you power on the computer with the dongle already instead, the system may not detect the equipment. Restarting the computer and performing this action helps correct the problem.
    • 3
Remove the Bluetooth dongle from the USB port and plug it into a different connection. Some USB ports fail to detect certain computer hardware. Changing the connection port fixes this.
    • 4
Install the driver on the provided driver installation CD. Without the driver, the computer is unable to detect and use the dongle. Insert the driver installation CD into the disc drive of the computer, then follow the on-screen steps to install the driver onto the system.

Hello, if I want to hook up an external audio device such as a speaker to my Toshiba TDP-ET20 DLP Projector, how do I do that?

Hey,
You will need to buy a digital coax to an RCA or analog Headphone cable. You will plug the digital coax end of the plug into your "coax out" connection on the back of the project.
The other end will depend on your speakers. If your speakers take an RCA connection (white and yellow cables) then you will buy a Digital Coax to RCA cable. If they take a regular headphone jack then you will need a Digital Coax to 3.5mm headphone jack converter, and plug the headphone jack into your speakers.

HOW CAN I GET AUDIO ON THE PROJECTOR IF I CONNECT A DVD PLAYER TO IT??

hi, it depends how you connect the DVD to the projector. the projector itself has only one speaker (mono) - not so good for movies. the "audio in" is a mini stereo plug (same as headphones). you will need a RCA to mini stereo convertor - red/white (or red/black) RCA to mini stereo plug.
or you can connect a RCA to RCA (red/white to red/white) cable to an amplifier which is connected to speakers.
or just plain speakers, but you'll probably need a convertor cable from RCA (red/white) to a female mini stereo plug).
these cables are pretty cheap and can be bought in any Radio-shack.
hope it helps....

Lost manual

The manual is available online quite easily. Just google.
As for the audio connection, this is one big drawback of the TDP ET20. it only has digital audio out so you can't connect it directly to headphones or ordinary speakers. You need a home theatre system or an amplifier that accepts digital audio. Or you need to buy a seperate digital to analog audio converter.

Big pain.

Sound from an InFocus LP240 Projector

it's just a line level signal with a 1/8" stereo phono jack. there is an amp and speakers in the projector, but they're meant for presentations, so there's not much to them. but there is no audio out coming from the projector, so you'd need a separate amp and speakers coming from the ps2.

Speakers

the speakers need a power source. as long as they have that, all you need is a phono plug, or a system that uses line level audio with rca plugs.

Connect the projector to an external amplifier and speakers.
The speaker system built in is designed for watching movies etc in a small quiet room.

Hope that helps =)

External speakers

I would bypass the speakers from the projector and connect the audio output from the DVD to a sorround sound system or to computer speakers.
