My Westinghouse 668 wall oven won't allow me to set the time. We had a power outage and I have checked the power and it's fine now. But the display flashes between 0:00 and auto and I can't hold the two...

Does the rest of the oven work ok? Did the timer work OK before the outage? Is the oven under warranty? Was the power outage at your home only? Check with the manual to see if it addresses your problem, there may be a way to reset the system and then I would say that you would need to contact Westinghouse and explain the situation.

I have a Westinghouse 668 Freestyle Multifunction oven. We lost electricity and when we got it again the digital timer is blinking from 0.00 to AUTO. How do I reset? It won't work otherwise.

Another Fixya member, skillful79, says you should hold down the two buttons on the left side at the same time, then set the time using the + and - buttons.

My Westinghouse 668 oven turned off in a recent power failure. I need to reset the time so the oven will work. How do I do it?

A lot of the time, particularly if you haven't got a manual, it is trial and error. I normally turn the oven to on. I then watch the oven indicator light as I manipulate the timer buttons/controls. It sometimes takes 5 to 10 minutes. Just try all different combinations.

Westinghouse oven timer keeps turning the oven off

It sounds like the timer is set you will need to press the cancel/stop buttton, and this will clear the display.

Westinghouse 745 wall oven

First thing, remove the plug from the wall power for at least 10 minutes, maybe even thirty minutes and allow it to reset........ if that does not work write me at wbwill@sbcglobal.net and give more model info so I can investigate for you or check out a volunteer site, allexperts.com and you will find me there also.

Westinghouse Freestyle 476 Cooktop Oven

After getting an electrician out, apparently the time needs to be set on the oven. As we're in a rental & don't have a manual/ couldn't download one, we got it to work after holding the first two buttons in (the timer buton + the one that looks like a hot pot) along with the + button at the far right, which made the tim tick on, so it could be set.

The oven works now! : )
