How to connect tv to my hp pc

First you need to know what type of physical connection you're using. You have may options, depending on your video card (if you got one separate from the onboard video: VGA-VGA, DVI-HDMI, or HDMI-HDMI). Make sure you set your TV's input to the correct connection (i.e. HDMI, or VGA). Turn you PC on and it should work, if it's not, the problem is probably your PC was set to a resolution that the TV could not display. A quick fix for this is to plug in the old monitor that you were using and set it to a lower resolution. Shut off, plug in the TV, and turn on.

First, try setting your monitor refresh rate at 60Hz using a known-working monitor. (The VGA input of the Beovision 7 is recommended for 60Hz refresh rate). If this fails to produce output from the Beovision 7, it is very likely, your video driver's resolution is set too high for the Beovision 7 to display signal. If you are using the Beovision 7 as your primary monitor, first connect a known-working monitor to the computer and reduce the resolution to 1024x768. Once you have changed the resolution, try connecting the Beovision 7. If you get video signal, increase the resolution incrementally until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will handle.

IF YOU ARE USING THE BEOVISION 7 AS A SECONDARY MONITOR USING EXTENDED DESKTOP, reduce the resolution on Monitor 2 output to 1024x768. If video appears on the Beovision 7 at that resolution, incrementally increase the Monitor 2 resolution until you find the maximum resolution the Beovision 7 will accept as a secondary monitor.

I've connected screen to my computer, but it says no video input. I'm using a good quality cable. What else could be the problem

You should make sure that the computer is outputting in an appropriate video range, i.e. a compatible resolution. Right click the Desktop, choose display properties, and head over to the display options tab, where you should see the monitor. If you do not see the monitor, then you will need to update your Graphic Card's drivers.
If the TV is the sole monitor, and you cannot see these menus, try returning to your old monitor, and changing the resolution (to something lower) then reconnect the TV.

If that doesn't solve it, try rolling the driver back to the previous driver(for the ATI radeon card) as some times updates are just no good for your needs as I have found recently.

Philips 52'' LCD HDTV. Has PC Input Issue.

You will need to download and install the catalyst drivers and software for your ATI card from here http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-64bit These are the drivers for the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and I believe that is what you are using. With the Catalyst software installed you can adjust the HDMI output to 1080p,1080i, or 720p so your TV will recognize it. Let me know if that works.

Need a driver for windows 7

You do not need the driver fot the monitor but you do need the correct driver for the video card. As fas as the monitor is concerned, all you have to do is to make sure that you set the PC video resolution to the TV native resolution, otherwise you will get format not supported warning on the screen.

Can't display 1440x900?

I have a different LCD TV and video card, but I have the same issue.

To work around it, I have to toggle to make it the primary output. It will not work if set to extended, or set to both screens.

Dynex 19 LCD

Yes, the current video driver is not configured for the higher resolutions supported by the Dynex TV/monitor. I ran into this same problem setting up my system. The solution is simple and only requires that you uninstall your current video driver and reinstall with the latest version driver for your systems VGA. You should be able to run the monitor at a resolution of 1440 x 900 with Color Quality at 32 bit Highest. Hope this helps.

Astar 32'' LCD - anyone have monitor drivers?

I purchased this model

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889114016

and have been able to get 720p and 1080i resolutions on DVI connections from my PC with both Intel and ATI graphics AND 1920x1200 resolution over VGA from the Intel integrated connection (the ATI has only DVI). You need to dump the EDID to see what resolutions and timings the TV is telling the video card it supports. Then you need to get a video card driver that allows for custom resolutions to be created. First download this free utility and post the output: http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm

Resolution issue when connecting to a PC

if the tv accepts 640 x 480 via DVI lead in safe mode, then as long as the tv is set to work in conjunction with the same resolution as your pc by the pc to DVI setting, it must be your pc's graphics driver that is the problem, as in safe mode the graphics vga driver only is loaded and not the advanced graphics options and resolutions, so enabling you to view on an external monitor. You should be able to right click on your desktop, then graphics properties and select either clone/dual or monitor. If this option does not show then you need to go into your graphics cards properties and ensure that an external screen or multiple display; is enabled, depending on your graphics driver.
