The bottom section of the door frame has been sprung, possibly from the door being opened too hard and too far. There is a very easy solution to your problem! Find a short piece of 2x4 lumber about a foot in length, open the door and place the end of the 2x4 horizontally just above the bottom hinge of the door. Carefully close the door against the 2x4 jamming it. This will cause the bottom of the door frame to bend slightly towards you and slightly is generally all you need. Remove 2x4 and try opening the door. If it still snaps, repeat the above with more force. My father taught me this trick 50 years ago.

Looks like a big dent below is causing that. An Auto body shop can fix that.

If you're just looking into getting rid of the popping sound and don't care much about the dent. I would try to remove the fender or try to reach behind it to push it back out - I think that would be enough to clear the door afterwards. Good luck with it.

The hinge could have been bent in an accident but you can try shims where it bolts to the frame to give you more leeway.

Magic chef MCD1611ST microwave, the display lights up, the time and powerlevel can be set, the light works when the door is open but when i hit start everything shuts off. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of possible causes, but I'd look at the door switches first, and the wiring connectors to them. Make sure the contacts on all the switches are opening and closing.

When I close my freezer door, the refrigerator door pops open.

That's normal due to the pressure created when you close one door it forces the other one open. Mine does that but only if I close the door a little harder than usual.
If it does it all the time when you close the door easily, then maybe the door magnets need to be replaced.
Hope this helps.

Why does my 2002 pt cruiser make a popping sound from the rear passenger side when turning. Is something about to fall off?

if it only does this during turning could be a few things, possible control are bushings, tie rod/rod ends, ball joints, or axle granted the axel usually is a clicking sound not popping but has been known to pop also if its ball joints or tie rods/rod ends it take a long time and really bad wear to come apart but generally doesn't happen very often so don't worry about anything falling off just check those things listed and replace what it is soon and you will be fine

hope this helped

Trying to align 65 coupe doors after painting. Weather stripping not sealing front of both doors. Should i take it to a body shop or do it with help?

Most of the time I adjust the doors all the way to the front, supporting the door with a hang strap or a jack with a protector on it. As you first close the door be carefull as the front fenders can be back a bit anf the door and the fender might hit. Most big builds the doors are fitted with the front fenders off and them after the doors aree fitted. ( putting paper in the weather stip and setting the drag of the paper and them the fenders are fitted to match the doors them the hood is fitted to match the fenders, some times the fenders need adjusted some to fit the hood squarely.)

Driver door rubs against fender, will not allow door to open and close properly . Its wear the skirt of the driver door exterior. Truck is a 2007 ss silverado

sounds like one of the door hinges may need to be adjusted or worn enough to either re-align the door or replace a hinge pin providing the fender hasn`t been hit or become mis-adjusted.

My Toyota Avalon passenger door makes a clicking noise when opening or closing. What could cause this?

if the click happens when the door is almost completely open then there is an over center cam that latches the door open so it doesnt just swing back at you .. the cam is visible near or on the door hinges ... if there is any loosness in the pivot pin then it will snap each time you go over the latch point .. heavy greese on its pivot pin might quiet it down .. if the click happens just as the door is opened then make sure the door front edge is not hitting the fender edge. of course lube the hinges and make sure they are not loose ...

Driver side door making a popping noise when opening or closing. Lubed the hinge but it kind of sounds like it's coming from inside the panel

Check spacing between the front of the door and the
fender. The door could be pinching the fender when you open and close it. Hope this helps.

My left door and fender are banging together

Sounds like you have a body alignment problem. If you have the door open try to lift up on the bottom edge of the door. You should not have much play.

If you do have play you need a door hinge. It is also possible that you hit or were hit in the front and the front fender was slid back towards the door. There are shims in the joints and some of the shims could have moved or fallen out.

This is simple body shop work.
