95 tahoe starts fine then dies when warmed up

Changed ignition coil, new fuel pump and filter, started it up and was driving when it felt like it was missing,RPM's dropped to zero and a huge back fire ran for about 5 more seconds and died. Next day started it started fine, when the engine warmed up it started all over again. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Thank You

Had vedry similar problems, i replaced all parts before the last 1 i changed worked which was the pick-up module under the rotor in the distributor. The wires that the ignition module plugs into fray and short out when warmed up. Found it easier to pound the rotor post down through. Not that hard to do. MAKE SURE YOU DRAW A LINE IN THE ROTOR POSITION SO YOU WONT HAVE A TIMING PROBLEM WHEN REINSTALLING THE DISTRIBUTOR!!!!!!

What's wrong with my 1992 Onan Marquis 7000 7.0 generator that starts, runs two minutes then stops?

I had a car in my shop that would run for two min. and die. wait a min and would start right back up. Turn out to be a cracked rotor , the crack would open when it warmed up enough. thy that.

My 97 tahoe the rpm's start going funny engine startes running like its missing popping and ******* and die's it has new fuel pump ,sending unit ,rotor, cap.cam censor ,fuel relay everytime i c

I'm assuming you replaced the fuel filter when you did the pump.
You'll have to try to figure out if you are loosing fuel to the injectors or spark to the plugs to proceed.
Its possible something is failing inside the distributor among other things.
I'm also assuming you have checked the computer for trouble codes.

I have a 97 tahoe. every morning i start it up it takes a few times before it fires on then its fine, but today i tried to start it up and the same thing happen. i let it set for a few minutes before...

Not the alternator, but a fuel pump or fuel filter could be the problem. BUT it depends on the indications. A fuel starvation problem would act like it was lunging and then dieing out before it died. If it just dies out suddenly, then I would suspect an electrical problem like a coil pack or cap.

My 1997 chevy tahoe will not start without starting fluid. I hear the fuel pump running and have changed the fuel pressure regulator already and the fuel filter. The pump is only a year old. Have checked...

IVE HAD PLENTY OF THESE GO OUT EVEN A MONTH LATER. AS FAR AS THE STARTING FLUID JUST TRY AND CYCLE KEY BUT KEEP IT FROM TURNING STATER OVER. TURN ON AND OFF ABOUT 3 TO 5 TIMES IT SHOULD BUILD ENOUGH PRESSURE TO START. TO START MINIMUN PRESS IS 55PSI.

95 Buick Fuel Pump, or Filter?

do you have a dis system(direct ignition system)? If you do it is probably your crank sensor. If you don't it could be your ignition coil or distributor. You could tap on the crank sensor while starting this could help.
