As the rollers move with the help of the side gears .which r made up of plastic and that gears r worn out or got cracked as due to this it pulls the paper but the gears are cracked so it does not pulls the paper further and it hangs in between.as to resove this the gears needs to be cleaned and checked if the problem not solved the gears neeeds to be replaced.

Scan platform in english is Were you shove the stuff to send ;) ie dirty feed roller, paper detect switch stuck or fragments of paper in original feeding paper path area or feeding stuff too thick or stiff, or if multi document issue it is the pad or roller that sits under the main feed roller...al this is nothiong to do with paper tray full of blanks it is the original feeler area on top..
Same error should occur doing local copy, check feed section/roller
Yes,but the most imported part for dubble feeding is the sepatation pad, this white pad is on the lower part of the docfeeder and work with the feed rollers, fist make sure that pad is clean before you replace the rollers, and then replace the pad.
Ther is a separation pad that developes a divot caused by the feed roller. Simple fix. order a new separation pad. It's located under the top cover. Just move slowly and identify the latches that hold the cover down. Don't force anything.
Another possibilty. If a document was forcably pull out of the document area the "White paper bar above the scanner glass might have been jerked out of it's normal position causing a blockage in the path. Investigate this possibility before ordering parts.
Check the paper, is it loaded correctly? Have you fanned the paper to break the production bond? Is the paper a good quality?
Remove all of the paper and check inside for any foreign objects.(paper clips, staples) Reinstall paper. Mark the top sheet of paper with an x, press the copy button, does it even try to pull in the paper?
If yes, the pick up rollers are likely dirty, and need to be cleaned, remove the paper and clean the rollers with some isopropal alcohol, and a soft cloth. (available at a drug store) Retry
If it doesn't try at all, then turn machine off and unplug it for a few minutes,re connect, power up. Any change? if not machine has a feed problem that may require a Tech to look at.
either dubree on the rollers or on the corona wires, wires clean with acalohol and q-tip, very carefully or you will brake the fire, look where the line is at and open the machine and locate where the issue is and remove and clean this area very carefully.

I'm not sher on this model if it is a rear paper feed or a cassette from under if it is a back feed one look in side the paper shoot of any fournobject is in there. Hope for the best.
By cleaning the feed rollers you the fax will feed beter.Remove the dockfeeder and the paper tray.you will find the feed rollers in the bottom of the paper tray.Take a cloth and a stong soap selution and clean the 2 feed rubbers.
If you make a copy, does the copy have dark areas down the middle of the page? If so, remove the toner cartridge and gently roll it around to redistribute the toner inside, maybe even replace the toner cartridge if you've had it a long while. If you still see unevenness, you may need to have the machine looked at.
If the copies you make on your machine look fine, then I would suspect that the person sending you the fax has a dirty scanning element. Check with them to see if they can clean the scanning element and it should improve the fax quality.
Replacing the roller can be prety extensive work. Try to check and make that the pick-up roller on the bottom is flat across sometimes it can get turns backwards and it has a round side that will not grasp the paper. If this is ture just take your finger and push the roller forwards. You can alo take a clean wipe and wipe off all of the rollers the rollers are made to be a little tacky when they start to get a little older dust can build up on them causing them not to grab the paper
