Go to www.freewarefiles.com and type in "Google Talk" in the search bar. Scroll through the list and click the Google Talk link. You will be carried to another page. On that page, you will see a "Download Now" button. Click that button, and you will be carried to yet another page. On this page, you will see a download link. Click that link to begin your download. When the save file box pops up, locate where you want to save that file and click the "Save File" button. I recommend saving it to your desktop so you know where it is located.
Double click the "Google Talk" file. The license agreement will be the first thing you see. Read through the agreement and click the I Agree button. When you click the "I Agree" button it will start installing.
When Google Talk has finished installing you will see a "Finish" button. Click the "Finish" button to close the box. When you click "Finish," that box will close and your Google Talk messenger will open. Type in your username and password to log on.
If you do not have an account, click the "Don't have an account" link and you will be carried to a page where you can create your account.
When the page opens, you will need to enter the information required in the fields. You will need to enter your email address, password, desired username, location, the word verification, and accept the agreement. Then click the "I Accept/Create My Account" button.
Once you have finished filling out the information, you can log in to your messenger with the username and password you just created.

when you use a service like this it sends the message to a primary server like google.com and if it cant reach the first server before you friend it means you've got a problem with your internet connection etheir bandwidth or your ISP
Well that's not available yet, all messengers have this stupid thing that you can't chat with users of other messengers.
I have found scripts for windows messenger, so you install plus and then scrips for it. that gives you gmail on msn, and lots of other stuff.
When that feature will be enabled, and if it is for gtalk, you must look for it on gtalk pages - look for additional software or updates. gtalk is still in beta and it will be long time for them to do that, but i know that there is one messenger that you can use it to contact all the contacts from talk programs that your friends use.
Try to find if the script or application for gtalk exsist, it can any day.
If you don't find anything write to my email and i'll send you link for the messenger that works with all talk programs, but i have to look into my favorites to find the name.
This error most commonly appears when you have no connection to the internet.
