Question about Philips Magic5 Voice DECT Duo - Fax / copier - thermal transfer - 50 sheets - 14.4 Kbps Plain Paper
We have recently changed how our phone system works for our company, but we need to turn off the fax machine without losing the use of the handset, as we now receive a Fax as an email. Unfortunately with the telephone having the Fax active it is preventing the new telephone service from passing unanswered calls onto voice mail.
Can you tell me how to do this please? Is there a way I can switch to phone only?
Many thanks in advance
I am checking possible solutions for you, meanwhile can you please test in speakerphone mode. So we can conclude whether its Function or Hardware related issue.
Thank you in advance

I think that you must turn the machine in the phone mode. So, when you want to receive the fax
the only thing that you have to do is to turn it in to fax mode or press the start.

After finding your Internet Help Service rather confusing, only having resorted to it because despite many attempts last Monday I was unable to contact yourselves on the telephone, I once again tried your Help Telephone Line and on this occasion was successful.
The answer was that either the Handset need new batteries or we required a new Handset. We had already replaced the batteries but the problem was not solved so a new Handset has now been ordered.
Thank you for your enquiry.
