According to the information online, the issue might be due to the VAIO Launcher Application.
The VAIO Launcher Application is responsible for the functionality of the AV Mode keys.
Hence, it would be better to re-install the VAIO Launcher Application.
It is also recommended to install the Sony Shared Library before installing the VAIO Launcher Application.

Insert pen drive, right click on corresponding drive, then select format
format should fix it if the drive is not physically damaged.
Also, did you set your flash drive to speed up your computer or use as additional ram? if so that might also be an issue.
Go to start->control panel->system->hardware->device manager. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right click on every USB root hub and select uninstall option. They will be reinstalled on next restart.
After that plug USB pen drive to usb port - go to start->control panel->system->hardware->device manager. Click Universal Serial Bus controllers then click on Action tab (the one at the top of Device manager window and select scan for hardware changes.
If that will not solve the issue try different USB port.
Make sure you have latest service pack installed so Windows would install proper drivers for the device.

hi and hello their..last year i have the same problem like your`re with my client..my 1st see the problem about that error is memory i suggest my client to make replace the memory..i think this is way the best you do 1st.the processor of laptop cannot advice to replace only memory and Hard drive..Thanks and Good Luck..^_^..>GOD Bless you...
