2nd hand roland mc 505 display panel needs replacing

I just got a 2nd hand roland mc 505 from ebay. the display panel is going & its almost impossible to read the info on the screen. I can possibly solder it myself if I can get the part. where can I get one from?

the other query I have is there a link to the quickstart manual, I have the other manual but the info about doing a factory reset is in the qs manual. I want to do a factory reset to see if it makes the panel work any better. how do I do a factory reset on the mc 505?

thanks for your time.

It is likely worn drive belts. There are 2 within this hi-fi. I replaced my belts with elastic bands. No issues so far.
1) Remove power and unplug unit
2) Remove 4 x lid screws and lid
3) Remove both side panels.
4) Remove silver plate from shielding cd drive
5) Replace belts with 25mm diameter bands
6) Reverse the strip down.
New belts are $6 each on e-bay.
