Question about Washing Machines
Hi, I have a 5kg lg top loading washing machine that is ordinarily very quiet, but now it has a new loud noise which starts 3/4 of the way through the wash cycle, and ends just before the wash cycle finishes. As the agitator speeds up, it emits a loud 'slapping' noise. I can reduce or stop the noise by reaching in and putting downward pressure on the load. Is there a part that needs replacing? Or does this point to a more serious problem?
Its not the usual problems found on Lg machines. sounds like you have possibly one or more coins being picked up underneath the pulsator. To check, remove pulsator with screwdriver and check .Very possibly you have a bra cup spring caught between the two drums which make an akward sound.
