It's "possinble" that upon putting in the new battery you may have caused a "spike". Try removing stereo, and check for power on the red wire. It seems that your yellow wire (constant 12V) is working. You may find a blown fuse on the acc, circuit.

Either from main dealer can get it from vehicle/radio serial number or a car audio specialist who can read the code from the memory chip!

When i want to change from radio to cd function on my head unit nothing happens, the radio works i think it happened when my battery was flat and had to get aa out to restart me, cant be the code as radio...

try pressing the reset switch or disconnecting power to the radio for a few minutes. sometimes jumping the battery sends a voltage spike to the radio and locks up the microprocessor.

We changed the battery and could not find the radio code.Need ano

These Chrysler Jeep Codes are very hard to obtain for free from anywhere on the Internet.

You could try here

www.ukbookshelf.co.uk

as they offer a few of the older codes for free otherwise you will have to go to your Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

My car battery died.when i put in a new my cd player stop working

If your radio is still working, then your power is OK. The Sony CD changer gets its power from the Sony Unilink cable. It is possible that it passed a power spike down to your CD player while hooking up your battery cables.

I just had a CDX-757MX just die a few days ago myself. My radio, amps, and other changers are still working. Could be an unfortunate coincidence.

CD Changer doesn't work after changing battery on Jeep Liberty 20

The CD changer probably failed to establish it's link to the head unit when you put the new battery in.

Since you've already tried the clear button, I'd suggest unplugging the IP-BUS cable (black cable) from the back of the changer, wait a minute (literally, 60 seconds) and plug it back in.

Jammed CD

Hello, I see your post is a few months old. If you still need help or a solution for this problem please feel free to contact me at rcruz@radiomedics.com

The loss of power to the unit should not have affected the CD player. It will re-sync upon powering back on but that is normal.

It fixed it's self, the next day the changer was working normal.the battery is weak and going to be replaced.so maybe the problem was low system voltage." IT'S A JEEP THING " ???
