Check for updates or just update adoe flash player
Adobe Flash Player allows users to view videos made with Flash, a common online video format that can be viewed by both Mac and PC users.

Because technology is consistently emerging, Adobe frequently updates its Flash player. Downloading an update is free, and may be required in order to watch videos online.

You will need at least 128 MB of RAM available on your computer to update Flash player, and Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later for Windows XP, version 7.0 or later for Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 8.0 or later for Windows 7.

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to Adobe's Flash player download site.
Click the download link and follow the instructions on your screen.

Click "Allow" or "Install" if your security system asks if you want to download the file.
Avoid running other programs while the download is going on.

Flash player tests itself by showing you a brief video when the download is complete.
If you do not see this video, the player has not been successfully installed and you must try the download again.

You tube vidoes wont load

1) Make sure your Adobe Flash Player is up to date,

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

[ Advise click on the small square to the left of -
Yes, install McAfee Security Scan Plus - optional
,and remove the green checkmark. THEN click on Download now ]

Be advised though, sometimes the new Adobe Flash Player download, will not automatically remove the old Adobe Flash Player version that is installed; and the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller Tool is needed.

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Go to the bottom of this page. Under the bold subheading -
Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller - click on the blue - Tech Note.

On the following page go down to the subheading -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player -
,and click on - uninstaller - in blue. (674 KB)

In the small window that comes up click on Save File.

Close all internet windows.

In the small download window that comes up next, allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

When you are finished with the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller, close all windows, restart the computer.
Now go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download the new Adobe Flash Player.

2) Make sure your Java is up to date,

http://www.java.com/en/

3) Sometimes I have found, that you have to click on Pause for the video, and allow it to download for a bit, then click on Play.

My Gateway 504 GR won't play WSOP or most Reel Slot games. How can i play newer games on my pc? 2002 version Windows XP Home, 915 chipset, Intel proc. 4 cpu 3.00GHZ 512mb 3000mhz. Thanks

Hello there,
The image below indicates the minimum and recommended system requirements of WSOP most probably you will be able to play the game. The problem might be your Adobe Flash Player or your Internet Explorer version. If your Windows Xp Home is genuine you might consider updating or download a Mozilla Firefox.
The links for Adobe and Firefox are located below the image.

Flash Player
Mozilla Browser
From what I know Windows XP by default have an Internet Explorer v.6.0 that is why you need to update your Windows. by the way you have to download Flash player if you have Internet Explorer v.7. if this does not work try the step below
1. Download the Mozilla Firefox browser and install setup 5.0.1exe. 2. Download Flash Player it will automatically update your Flash.

Hopefully this information helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

Can't get audio on youtube and other sites. When I try to fix it, it's grayed out!

Suggest you upgrade your Adobe Flash Player.

First thing to do is to remove the old version. You have to do this manually, the new version will Not automatically uninstall the old version.

Adobe Flashplayer Support Center > Adobe Flash Player Uninstall,

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

The following is for computers using the Windows operating system:

On this page go down to line 1, and left-click on -
uninstall_flash_player.exe
(In blue)

A small window will come up -
Opening uninstall_flash_player.exe

Left-click on Save File.
The file will go to where your downloads are set to save to.

Windows XP:
My Documents, (Start>My Documents)
May go to a sub-folder within My Documents.
Downloads.

Windows Vista:
Documents
(Windows start key, or Windows Start Icon > Documents)

May go directly to your desktop screen.

File name is uninstall_flash_player.exe
When you see the file name Double-click right on it.
Follow the instructions.

Then go to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.
(10.1)

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

On this page left-click on Get the latest version.
(Get the latest version is in blue, and to the right of the white f, in the Red square)

Download, install, and restart your computer.

I would also suggest you make sure you have the latest version of Java.

Tried both solutions adobe flash player 10 still failed to register

You may need the latest Java Updates. Go to www.sun.com and download the latest Java Console to your computer. After installation, try to download Adobe Flash Player again. If it does not work then your operating system may not be compatiable with Adobe Flash Player 10. You may need to download an older version such as Adobe Flash Player 9.

You can find older versions of Adobe Flash Player such as 9 on www.cnet.com type in the search field (adobe flash player 9). After the options show up, choose the file to download and install.

Be sure to check your available memory and system speed which are also factors when installing flash software.

Is your PC running with Win XP with Service Pack 2 or higher? Which browser do you use ( Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox)
Check out the Add Remove Panel for the Latest installation of
1. Adobe Flash Player ActiveX
2. Adobe Flash Player Plugin

3. Adove Shockwave Player 11

Download it from this weblink: Flash Player

Also check this update for Microsoft

You need to uninstall Java and Adobe Flash Component from PC.

First, it is better to run in "Safe mode with Networking"; by pressing F8 key during Bootup.

After then, Uninstall Java, Then uninstall Adobe Flash component from the control Panel, then reboot PC.
Let me know after this if you are able to download and install the latest version of Java and Flash plugin from the link given:
Java Plugin
Flash Player .
And then reboot PC.
Let me know the status after it.

Installing flash player on windows xp

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, and remove any flash version you see.

Then reboot, go here, and install it manually. Close any open windows and don't use the computer while the install proceeds. Reboot after the installation.
