Question about Televison & Video
Power supply output is 134 volts, without load. If TV is forced on, voltage drops to 124 volts. What is the adject supply voltage? As soon as the EHT gets on, the set goes to stanby mode, and LED keeps on blinking.
The problem was detected as a case of unregulated Power Supply Output. A sort of Crowbar is set in operation if the Power Out is above tolerable limits, which cuts off the supply to the Horizontal and etc. IC TDA 8362. The diagnosis was a faulty PWM IC 3842.
