Water starts but never turns off

Whirlpool Model 35WTW5205SQ0 - as you start washing the machine starts running before water gets to right level and never shuts off. From wash to rinse water is flowing out of the drum from the top. If you turn manually to spin water pumps out and spins accordingly.
Sorry the model is not listed in the list below - the model is as above being 35WTW5205SQ0

Could be the motor or belt, tilt the machine backwards and look underneath to inspect the belt, try turning by hand see if everything is free (will only freely turn in one direction only as brake acts in one direction). Check motor for rotation, remove the front panel for a look, to remove the front panel, at the seam between the front panel and lid push in a flat knife or screwdriver approx 4" in at each side to release the clips (one at each side). this will allow you to lift the top and then remove the two front panel fixing bolts 7-8mm to remove the front panel.

    Solution:

Take the panel off right under the round door(3 screws) there is a
white plug looking like thing(like a gas cap) take that out(water will
run out so have a bucket or towels or something) you will see all the
muk muk around this plug clean it off and put back in.

If water is filling the tub, then the problem is with the pressure switch or the control board.
A siphoning problem through the drain hose could also cause this problem.
Make sure that your drain hose is properly installed .

Whirlpool 6th sense washing machine

All washing machines have a water level sensor, this can be a tube into the drum that leads up to a switch normally attached to the inside higher up, what happens is the tube gets clogged up with muck and gives a false reading, which needs cleaning out.
Another problem may be your input valve normally a sngle cold water input, the valve can get clogged with limescale and its just slow to switch off even when the power is off. The default is a closed position.
Try switching the machine off at the plug as soon as it finishes, if it starts filling up its the input valve, these can be under twenty pounds on popular auction websites.

Whirlpool GSQ9669LW1 washer. Originally Load Size was set to small. After water was filled to that level and machine started to work, wanted to add more water. Turned the Load Size knob to Medium, nothing...

You would have to start the wash cycle all over in order to get enough water for the med load size. Once the washer starts it cycle you have to cancel that cycle to start a new one. Hope this is a help to your question

Whirl pool top load washing machine directly goes to aqua save mode and disable all other functions?

This is just a setting error. For troubleshooting of this error, just enter in diagnostic mode. Keep pressing Program button and then also press Water Level button. Now release both buttons. Now machine will auto run for wash-rinse-spin. After it finishes, Keep program on Normal, Keep water level low and now Start the machine. It will now work normally as before.

WHIRLPOOL DUET WASHER THE WASH LIGHT IS NOT LIGHTING UP WHEN WASHER IS STARTED AND THEN I GET "LF" CODE

LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.

Hi. My water level knob is very hard to turn and the water level is not correct when filling the washer. Any thoughts?

if it has been quite some time since you turned the knob it is possible that it is starting to sieze up, you may have to replace the switch behind the knob

Just water pump start

Check the water supplies at the back, if the valve is opening, and the water is getting into the machine, it can be a faulty water level switch, or membrane sensor, depending on the model.

A faulty or clogged inlet valve can also close few seconds from opening the valve, usually becausu of a faulty solenoid.

If valve and water level switch are ok, then this is a faulty control.

Have valve and water level switch checked first.
