I suggest the Windows installer and making a dual boot system. It allows for super easy install and removal without wiping the system.

D845epi Is frozen on Express BIOS Update


hold down the power buttom till the system turn off and wait for some minutes then power back on. this situations happens when you are updating an old bios.

Add Memory In Compaq Deskpro 6000 P2 Shuttle PC?


Before you get to that you may want to see what type of memory and much you can upgrade you shuttle. Go to http://www.crucial.com/ and do a scan to see what memory you have in the system and if it worth upgrading. Then go to hp website and get the manual to find the motherboard.

Mobo is for a Compaq EvoD510. Drivers can be found at:

Motherboard doesn't accept WD 40 gig on.


When you say "the system didn't work with that", do you mean it didn't identify the drive? When you go into the BIOS setup, are the drives displayed, or are they shown as "Auto"? Did you correctly change the WD drives jumper to Master, and the old drive, to Slave?
